Starting to thing of Whistle Stop as our 'winter palace'. This was our seventh year and hopefully many more to come. Bed/Lounge room, veranda, courtyard, BBQ/Spar and grounds are wonderful. Kitchen and bathroom are getting a bit tired and need some tarting up (just hope George & Aldy don't renovate them during our next planned visit).
BTW : You get NO mobile phone reception at Whistle Stop and have to walk up to the dam intersection - excellent! - a complete break. Take a book, take a mud mask or any self-pampering products, take your picnic rug (lying looking at the stars there is magnificent) but most of all take your champagne!
