I found this place by sheer chance. I found it on the net and drove to Montville, but it was not as easy to find as I thought. I nearly gave up but kept driving and eventually found it not too far from the centre of Montville.
It is an interesting place, you walk through a shop to the amazing restaurant, something out of the 60's. Everything in the shop and restaurant takes you back in time.
The windows are floor to ceiling with views out over the Valley, so peaceful and very beautiful.
It is BYO which we did not know, but that did not matter. The menu was interesting and we ordered the Ploughmans Lunch for two which was absolutely superb. Everything is homemade and of local products. It is always a good sign when there are plenty of people seated and you have to wait a few minutes.
There was a day spa there for anyone who wants a massage.
This unique place rated high on my list and I will visit again when in the area.
