Myself and my partner booked this holiday on impulse as we found a great special on the internet, we just couldn't pass it up. After reading some reviews here on tripadvisor, we requested before arrival to stay in the lyre bird cabin, the ladies in reception were more then happy to take our request and we were so pleased with that choice. The cabin was just as the pictures were, absoloutly beautiful, stunning views and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed, also the breakfast hampers were very generous and delicious. The bed was so comfy, we both had great sleeps every night, was just so quiet and peaceful. The cabins were a very short drive from the beautiful main street of montville, and we also enjoyed some stunning rainforest walks that were just so close to our cabins aswell. Even though the weather was a bit rainy during parts of our stay, it made the cabin just that much more cosy and gave us more of an excuse to be lazy and relax for a while. All round it was a simply amazing stay, that wonderful we even asked to extend during our stay but unfortuantly they were fully booked. A big thankyou though to all the staff at treetops seaview, we will most deffinatly be back! :)

Firstly, I have to clarify that Eliane and (Paul?) were brilliant, nothing less ! I am not about to give a glowing representation here, for several reasons, not the less, being Cyclone Oswald, tornadoes, howling rain, and sheer terror ! We had booked in for a long weekend which was rudely interrupted by the weather! Nevertheless, we had arrived and Elaine offered us all the options as there was no view (low cloud cover), bucketing rain, howling wind, flying trees - stay? money back if you go? credit for a more suitable time? We decided we would stay, as our intention was to veg out, watch dvd's, read books etc so the view from the mountain wasn't important......well things deteriorated as the weather worsened, and after a frightful night where we thought we were seriously in jeapordy of our lives, the next morning we were again offered the options and we decided to evacuate (luckily we did as the following 48 hours were catastophic up there) - Elaine had no quarms in refunding our money, and when we can, we will go back and hopefully the weather will be kind.
The accommodation (cabins in the rainforrest) are well positioned and contain all you need for a self contained stay. The breakfast basket is well stocked, and the wine cold. If anything, the cabin we were in needs a little TLC to restore it to its former glory, however, the furnishings a new and comfortable, and the facility clean and crisp. Close (walking distance) to the quaint village of Montville and a 15 minute drive to Melany village (great shopping), and 30 minutes to the beach.
An interesting venture.

Room Tip: 8 cabins spread through the rainforrest, each fully private from the others, all of equal standard.

For the price we paid, this was definitely bang for your buck. The unit is quietly located on the edge of the mount facing the sea. Giving you an unobstructed view of the valley and the sea beyond. The unit (bowerbird) is very well designed, we loved cottage style and feel to it. Split level living with the lounge and kitchenette on top and bed and spa below. There is a huge window beside the step down spa, giving you an unobstructed view of the valley and beyond...with very much appreciated privacy. There is a wonderful deck for breakfast basket provided. We loved the little things provided, candles, novelty soaps, grind coffee with french press etc is a nice touch.

A beautiful and peaceful location with magnificent views. The amenities were excellent and we could not have needed anything more. The location is right in the heart of Montville, nice and close to shops, cafes and restaurants etc. The room was lovely with comfortable lounge and bed, spa was perfect, once again with magnificent views and nice big TV with DVD. The only minor, and very minor negative was the size of bath towels, could have been bigger. The addition of bath robes definitely made up for it though. The kitchen facilities were very good too. The breakfast hamper was more than you could wish for. We would definitely stay again as well as highly recommend to others.

My boyfriend and I recently went away for the first time since we've been a couple, so we were a bit nervous about everything. We arrived at about 9 pm, so the office was closed, but the staff made it really easy for us to obtain our keys and they gave us detailed information on where to find our cabin, and some useful tidbits. We even had chocolates and champagne waiting for us when we rocked up, and they had prepared some kindling for the fireplace with fire-starters, which was a nice surprise. There was also breakfast for the next day waiting for us in the fridge. The next day we went into the main office to pay for the balance of our stay and the ladies were so friendly, and even gave us a map of the area, showing us the "must-sees" so that we could get a better appreciation for the area, and the service continued right through until we checked-out.

We were both amazed at the views provided in the cabin, as well as the fireplace in the middle that did an excellent job of keeping us warm, and the 2-person Jacuzzi that provided a romantic essence that really made the whole experience that much better.

As a travel agent, I would not only stay at the Treetops Seaview cabins again, but I would happily recommend it to clients wishing to getaway.

Thanks again for the best little holiday away :-)
