We didn't stay at this hotel but we did go for lunch and a drink in the bar and also used the beer garden. The Poet's Bar is a delight - warm, cosy and friendly. Dogs are very welcome in the bar. The beer garden is on the waterfront and lovely on a sunny day - but you might get mobbed by ducks!

We had sandwiches for lunch which were excellent, as was the local real ale.

My husband took me to the Kenmore Hotel for the night for my birthday (31st July) its a beautiful location, we loved the view from our room, lovely outside area, our room was satisfactory on the cleanliness side and we know its an old hotel but felt the room was needing a bit of a facelift, it felt a bit tired, just needs modernised a tad, loved the bed though it was soooo comfy. Breakfast was okay, i like buffet style breakfast but if you go down later the choice is in short supply, just a couple of bits of melon left, fried eggs were all wrinkley, but never the less it was oki, my hubby is vegetarian, so having veggie sausages etc available would of been good but this seems to be a problem with alot of hotels not just yourselves. The only staff that we thought were helpful and lovely were the receptionists, i only scored a very good for service because of receptionists, breakfast staff looked liked they didnt want to be there, even though it was obvious it was a buffet style brekkie it would of been nice of someone just to say "please feel free to help yourself" or something similar, still waiting for a good morning from them or a smile, it didnt ruin my stay but made breakfast a tad "awkward" I would definitley stay again but just feel a few things need looking at to make it better.

A quaint hotel suitable for a short break. Friendly staff and good food with a lovely setting in Kenmore.
We ate in the hotel restaurant on both nights of our stay and found the choices were good however it should be noted that there is a lot of extras to be paid if you are on a DBB rate.

We stayed in the annex part of the hotel, across the road from the main building and although the room was comfortable, it could do with modernisation. Had to run the water for sometime to get a hot shower. The toilet system also took sometime to refill.

very helpful and efficient team helped make a memorable stay at this hotel. Dinner was great and the restaurant must have one of the best ever views. Bedrooms could do with some decoration and refurb, but dont let that spoil the party - it is a nice hotel, great location, good staff, etc. Will return soon.

We held our Wedding reception in the Kenmore Hotel on 21st July 2012. What a venue........We had a fantastic day, great food and superb service. Lucy ( Wedding Organiser) was a star. Always tere to help and advise. She kept our day "on time" without rushing things. This is the ideal venue for a Wedding.
Thank you also to, Matthew for his valued contribution, in fact, thank you to every ember of staff for helping us make our Wedding Day such a wonderful day.
I highly recommend te Kenmore Hotel for any type of function.
