We stayed for a few days as a group of friends in 2 of the lodges.
They are cottages rather than lodges however they are certainly very well appointed.
Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms .
The staff setting up our rooms were very helpful.
The view of the loch was lovely.
Would certainly return.

We booked in here for 4 nights as the location seemed a good spot for getting around.
We were booked in to Cairn Toul which has the Hot Tub.
The location is very exposed for the Hot Tub as you have a public right of way for the river just next to you. Kids did not mind though.
The lodge is right on the river and kids loved feeding the ducks.
With Scotland in the the summer if you have children the blinds need to close to keep out the light in the bedrooms.
I was felt as if it was rundown from what it was originally and i fixed the dishwasher as it had some loose parts inside and the fridge freezer was originally a fitted unit but had been replaced with one that just filled the space over time. If you are paying a premium these little details should be fixed.
We tried the kenmore hotel one night for an evening meal and my wife booked it nd checked that we could eat outside over looking the river, the reception confirmed this; however when we turned up for the meal they staff refused to let us sit outside on the balcony area. We gave up after an argument as they would not budge, we did follow up with the reception later and they did not understand why. It is a shame as it is one of the only selling points.
Kenmore itself is a small village, the Post Office shop does not carry much products but there is another shop across the bridge at Mains of Taymouth for some supplies, but aim to bring most with you for self catering.

We booked a romantic weekend in The Saddle lodge with secluded” hot tub. The picture does not show the right hand wall on entering the garden the 8 plus open windows of staff accommodation and linen rooms all overlooking the garden and tub. The adjoining 2 cottages with hot tubs housed a all girl birthday weekend with over 7 hours of very loud thumping techno music in their garden. The hotel did apologise sent staff to stop the overzealous party but stated they have no control on what other bookings are for and would accept noise until 10 pm when the tubs should not be used out of respect. Sadly our other neighbours, another group, put their music on in the hot tub until 2 am. Note to the Hotel the only indicator to these adjoining cottages to be respectful about noise and time of hot tubs is a one liner in your large information manual. There is nothing next to the hot tubs that they should not be used after 10pm. Everyone does have different reasons to book your accommodation but your description is not true and our experience of a quiet weekend getaway was not met. The hotel offered to move us to another lodge with no hot tub which meant repacking and moving . We would not return and would check on future bookings if there were group bookings next door. When paying luxury lodge prices there is a level of expectation, and party music, noise and shouting was not acceptable at any time of the day. Its a shame as the interior was lovely and area is so peaceful and beautiful.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay in Ben Lomond. The house is very well located just across from the Loch and the views are beautiful. The house itself is good but is certainly not a lodge, it is part of a small renovated terrace of 3 houses. I would also say that it does not deserve the 5* rating, the fixtures and finishing are very nice but certainly not of the highest quality. The kitchen is lovely and well finished but could do with some extras to make self catering easier for example oven gloves and some baking trays however the dishwasher tablets etc provided were very useful. The living room is reasonably large and there is ample seating for 4 people. En suite bathrooms are beautifully finished! A lovely part of the world to visit and I would stay in the accommodation again, depending on the price.

Our group of 6 stayed here in April 2019 for a few nights while making our way across Scotland. The lodge had very comfortable beds, modern furnishings, and great views. The restaurant was also really good and the staff were very accommodating. I was able to go for a walk down by the water and skip rocks or just sit and take in the views. We had trouble with our washing machine and they came to fix it. The kitchen was nice and clean and everything was pretty much as described!
