The room is excellent! It has a quirky and opulent feel with decorative pieces chosen with care to complete the indian theme- which extended into the bathroom with gold fittings, luxury decor and a massive shower! The room is situated close to the hosts home but it felt very private with our own patio area to use as we pleased- a great sun trap with comfortable patio furniture and bbq provided. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean which is always a winner but the highlight of staying here was definitely the host, Tina, who went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, even hosting a barbecue with champagne for us at her own expense- an unexpected touch ive not experienced before. you will not be disappointed to stay at the best exotic marigold hotel!
Very well equipped accommodation on outskirts of Bembridge. Tina is an excellent host who was very welcoming.
We stayed at Tina's gorgeous home during July this year, and chose it because it looked quirky but quiet and relaxing. We weren't disappointed. The room was really fun and very comfortable - it was my partner's birthday and she had left champagne in the fridge for us. The room is quite big with TV, satellite, sound system, tea and coffee, sink etc and a really spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The local area is really nice; the beach is about 5 minutes away and is fairly quiet with a couple of local restaurants. Bembridge is about a 15-20 minute walk through lovely woods.
But the thing that made our stay was Tina. She picked us up from the ferry, gave us loads of hints and tips, entertained us with a lovely barbecue on her terrace in the evening, introduced us to her friends and couldn't have done more to make our stay more relaxing and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend anyone to visit who just wants to get away from it all but still be in walking distance of human contact, with the most thoughtful host you could wish for.
Cannot praise Tina's little 'hotel' in Bembridge enough. Had such a perfectly relaxing stay this week, the place is so fascinating, well equipped. Comfy bed and such a sweet patio. Tina is such an excellent host, she cannot do enough for you, permanently on the go. The extras included inside were wonderful, wine, bread, jams and marmalades. Gin and tonics, slippers and so much more. Tina even invited us to her bbq, and taxied us to a seafood restaurant one lunchtime. The only downside is that we have to leave for home. Will be back.
The owner Tina was the sweetest and helped me find the guest house very easily and was extremely helpful in communicating. We arrived a little bit later than anticipated as we had a rehearsal dinner to attend, but Tina would have had a champagne reception for my partner and I.
The best exotic marigold in was the most highly designed and most interesting guest house I've ever stayed in! The place is adorned with beautiful objects from South east Asia, from a golden bird as the tap in the bathroom, to gilded trim lining the room. Tina provided delicious chocolate cake, bread and butter, and milk and coffee in the room as well. This was our first time to the Isle of Wight and the best advice I have is to hire a car (we had to take taxis everywhere, which adds up!) and stay at the best exotic marigold hotel. Tina and her guest house are such a treat!
You will never meet a better hostess than Tina, very warm and welcoming and will go all out to make your stay an experience you won't forget. The room you won't forget, as this is special, every detail is perfect. Great location for peace and tranquillity, with easy access to the island and its beautiful attractions.
Our stay at Tina's Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was simply outstanding. Tina was a perfect host, welcoming us with an amazing dinner, complete with champagne, while she entertained us and gave us tips for the best things to do during our stay. The room itself is gorgeous, with incredible attention to detail, and plenty of kitchen supplies (including a George Foreman, slow cooker and access to an oven) to ensure we had everything we needed. From the fresh orchids that scented the room for the whole trip, to the Molten Brown toiletries in the bathroom, Tina went above and beyond to make it a perfect stay.
