“The perfect place to stay for a peaceful retreat, fully self-catered”
Reviewed September 1, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

My partner and I stayed here for two weeks and would highly recommend it. Our hosts, who live in the main house, were very welcoming and took great efforts to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The truly beautiful and immaculate studio apartment is a separate building and is equipped for your every need, with an open plan kitchen and living area and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. We were delighted to be able to cook our own meals which really reduces the cost of staying away from home. The apartment is completely modern but so peaceful, in a great location in rural Banknock. There is ample parking for two cars so this was a useful place to stay to get to work while we were househunting. We will recommend it to any family or friends who come up to visit - five stars!

“Convenient Comfortable”
Reviewed June 11, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here for a week and used it as a base for visiting various locations researching family history. We were really pleased with the location as all places were easily accessible from here. The studio is almost brand new and spotlessly clean with a king size bed and modern bathroom. The kitchen is WOW with loads of space and equipment. The only slight inconvenience is that the the kitchen is built into both sides of a wide island which means going back and forth from one side to another as you need the fridge or hotplates on one side and then the sink on the other. But for a holiday period, it's fine. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and most helpful. There was a fabulous amount of tourist info provided which was appreciated. Also much appreciated were the welcoming goodies - tea, coffee, milk, shortbread, whisky, yes, I said whisky! There was a hiccup with the WiFi at one point but Logan was on too it straight away and it was fixed in a couple of days.

“Pleasant, well appointed studio flat in the countryside.”
Reviewed April 13, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I had the pleasure of being the first guest to stay in this newly decorated well equipped studio flat. It's in a lovely location up on the hill above Banknock, surrounded by fields. I was actually staying here for work so I was up early every morning and kept startling the deer grazing by the driveway on my way to work! The bed is comfy, the wifi is fast, and there are decent cooking facilities (once you get used to the slightly unusual layout).
Logan and Sheena the owners are very nice people indeed - really relaxed and friendly and just next door in case of any queries. Logan kindly lent me a bike one evening so I could take a ride along the canal to the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. As I was working I didn't get to see too much of the local area, but being close to the major central belt motorways means it's very easy to get around. Well recommended.
