I stayed here for one night this month, with my dog, en route to a caravan holiday. From the moment that I booked, I have nothing but praise for the friendliness of the owners. Upon arrival, I was greeted and advised where I could walk my dog (beside the lake in the grounds, or in the paddocks surrounding the property). My room was huge, with a beautiful view over the grounds and the lake, and my bathroom was next door to my room, and that also was huge. One word of warning would be to ask for a private bathroom, in case the room next door is also occupied. The breakfast was served at a time to suit me, not the owners, and was also huge. Cereals, toast, fruit juice and tea and coffee, then the biggest cooked breakfast I've ever seen, cooked to order. The local pub, 1 mile away, served lovely food, and had a great outdoor space, overlooking the village duck pond, complete with ducks and geese. Overall, very pleased.
