“Amazing water, smooth sand”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

The island is a patch of sand that almost completely disapears duing high tide. The tour will take you here for a short stop over. We were greeted by people offering us fresh sea urchin to taste at P20 per urchin. There are also stands that sell coconut juice, banana q, softdrinks etc... Fun photo op, didn't stay too long about 30 mins. It was a quick stop, but beautiful place. Tip: Bring cash, try the urchin, they'll scoop it out into your hand for a salty, slimy snack. Fresh coconut juice on the beach was nice, but not cold. After drinking the juice ask the vendor to cut the coconut, and you can eat the young coconut meat inside. They'll make a small spoon out of the coconut shell for you to use.

“Love the Sand Bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 9, 2012

The sand bar was amazing... Crystal clear waters and finest white sand. Love the starfish that is scattered in the island.

One of a kind Island...hope this Island will not get exploited by hotel tycoons.

“Small yet breathtaking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

If you stay on Alona beach, the visit to the island is almost a must since it's not that far.

The spider boat everyone takes may seem scary at first but they work just fine.

The island is tiny but you get to take photos to make people envy, it's that type of island if you know what I mean.

“Typical”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

Nothing special to see except that seemingly bridge or pathway made of sand. It shows only on Low tide and looks better when the water has risen just a bit that your feet is submerged. It's like your walking in the Ocean.

“Sandbank beauty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012

This is a place to stop over and just spend time on the Beach. Similar to the sandbanks in the Movie Pirates of the Carribean. However, it's a little more dirty because there's lots of dead seaweeds floating on the banks, and some plastic trash or bottles as well. So sad to see that the people who visited the place just threw their trash there :( Come on people, keep your trash and throw them when you get to your hotel.
