Panglao Regents Park Resort

This hotel was introduced by information at port.
One night was 3000 pesos. So I payed for three nights.
Room was good for one person.
But toilet was stinky badly.
I asked boy how to use safe-box, but he didn’t know how to change password.
He called another staff to change password.
They tried many times. But again, he couldn’t.
I asked if they have instruction of it,. Their answer was “yes”. But they made no action.
Finally they told me to use same password “1234” with anger.
Is it my fault that they don't know how to change password?
Do I have to use password which is known to all staff?

This hotel is typical Filipino management.
Staff were not educated and trained as hotel man.
Of course all staff is not bad. But few are so.
So I do not recommend this hotel to traveler whom care about valuable things..

Booked through Agoda and think I got a very good deal at $49 per night, given it is just after Holy Week. Friendly staff were very helpful, spacious room was really clean and everything felt new, including the flat screen cable tv. No Internet in rooms but free wifi in communal areas. Apart from breakfast (which was fine), we only ate once in the restaurant - food was good (by Filipino standards - you know what I mean) and didn't think it was pricey. Great pool, didn't try the gym - yes they do charge 100 peso to guests for gym but I came to relax anyway. Beach is a short walk - I think hotel is well situated and certainly peaceful.
I would recommend for couples or families - enjoyed my stay and would def stay again if I returned to Bohol.

I stayed at Panglao Regents Park Resort for over two weeks and I loved every minute of it!!!

Yes, its not at the beach but the beach in Alona is not worth staying anyway.
You pay a lot more but its crowded, noisy and far from beautiful.

The staff is amazingly friendly. They take good care of all your needs!

The hotel, rooms, gym, pool area is super clean- nothing to complain at all.

Its a quiet place where you can get a good night sleep but still close to all bars and restaurants if you need more entertainment.

Everything about this place is great and I cant wait to come back!!!

If you do not mind walking around 8mins to get to Alona beach, then this hotel offers a very clean and safe option for budget-conscious travellers. The hotel can be reached by taking the bus from the Tagbilaran city terminal which is a tricycle ride away from the airport, aside from the taxis&tricycles that you can charter directly from the airport.
They have a requirement of having to leave your room key with the front desk whenever you go out which I guess is to help prevent the key being lost and thus having the door lock needing to be replaced. They also charged a php500 deposit for incidental expenses which can be charged for damage, henna tattoo ink on bedsheets, etc.

Do not choose their annex building if you can't sleep due to loud music as the nearby restaurants have a habit of being noisy during late night.

Transportation to-and-from this hotel, and Panglao in general, is not cheap and easily accessible. Their wifi is currently free but you need to choose a non-congested network from the list of free networks that they give to you.

Room Tip: Do not choose their annex building if you can't sleep due to loud music as the nearby restaurant...

We stayed at this hotel and I found it to be simple but offers the best in terms of cleanliness and great, basic facilities. It is not beachfront BUT I think this is great as Alona Beach gets very noisy until late at night. A 5 minute walk to the beach is actually pleasant and you can meet/make new friends along the way.
Facilities: The room we were in was a simple, standard twin but well-appointed room. Everyday, the room was cleaned, the towels were changed, soap/shampoo were provided for and there was free bottled water and coffee. The air-conditioning unit was silent and in great condition. Racks fro drying wet clothes should be provided for at the terraces of the rooms for people coming from the beach or the pool.
We were billeted in the main building and our room was right in front of the gym. There is annex, which is three-story building ACROSS the street and consists only of rooms. One has to cross the street to reach the front desk. The swimming pool, located on the main coumpound (4 feet-9 feet) was cleaned everyday and the water was warm and very clean.although it could use a marker where the pool walls would end because its irregular shape causes you to hit the walls inadvertently. Pool should at least be opened until 12 midnight (not 10:00 pm) for those all-nighters who come from Alona Beach.
Gym: Facilities were up-to-date and well-maintained but In-house guests are charged P100.00 per hour while non-checked-in guests are charged P300.00 per hour. Again, why the gym fee for in-house guests? Gazebo and tables strategically located around the pool was a great feature. I like the fact that there was no karaoke and in-house music selections were nice to listen to and not loud nor intrusive.
Staff: Very friendly, courteous, helpful and attentive.
Service: This is where I have my little "beef", because room service is charged at 10% for any service from the restaurant - why? Isn't room service a standard service in hotels? The hotel does not have its own transportation facility for airport transfers but calls on outside agencies, I suppose it is good for business distribution but guests should be aware of this all the time.
Food: Tasty but PRICEY. Breakfast menu was particularly limited but the menu was great for lunch and dinner.
Value for money: My over-all rating would be very good and in some aspects, excellent.

Room Tip: Choose a room in the main building/compound instead of the annex.

Perfect place to rest and relax after a full day of sight seeing around Bohol tourist spots. Spacious clean room with a good price. Average price without sacrificing comfort.

Location : A few blocks away to get to the Alona beach front. Which I liked because along the way you get to visit restaurants, shops, souvenir shops, bars and see the local life. Because of the location you get a quiet relaxed stay.

Rooms: Big, clean, basic. Big beds. Clean T&B with water heater.

Food: The breakfast is good. Prices are fair

Amenities: New and basic gym equipment ( best after so many delicious food during vacation), pool is clean and quite nice.

We spent 2 nights at the Panglao Regents Park Resort. The rooms are very basic - no amenities and hooks for the towels in the bathroom, but clean. Food was actually very nice.
To few deck chairs by the pool which was a great shame!
We checked out of the room at 11am and had to wait till late afternoon to get a transfer to the port. The hotel wanted to charge us 50% of the room rate for using the pool area - CRAZY!!!
