“so-so, nothing memorable..”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Stayed here only for 1 night for a friend's wedding. Breakfast is not included in their rates, hence you have to buy at their restaurant.

Airport transfer is PHP600/way. Didn't avail since I know someone who charges only PHP500/way. Stayed at the annex building.

Owner was there when I checked-in but didn't even bother to say hi nor smile at us. Check-in was okay. They let me check-in at 12nn instead of 2pm since the room was already available.

Room was okay, nothing special but in fairness, it is clean. Towels were clean as well.

Some staff were helpful but others weren't. A friend of mine wanted to complain because one waiter was more receptive to the foreign guests and didn't attend to her the fact that she called the waiter first. The waiter approached the foreign guest first.

Deposit is 500 pesos refundable upon check-out.

Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby, good thing, I was 2 rooms near the annex lobby and was on the ground floor so had 2 bar-signal strength. Unfortunate for those on the upper floors.

Alona Beach is quite far, not advisable if you have kids with you. But their pool is beautiful, small but nice.

All in all, stay was ok but lots of nicer ones elsewhere.

Room Tip: near the lobby if you need wi-fi access.

It was my second time to stay here last January 18-20. Do let them know if you are a returning guest for you to get a very thoughtful surprise. The resort staff are very friendly and accommodating. I requested for an extra pillow and I got one in an instant. And they have a gym now! Free for the first visit and just 100 for succeeding visits. :) Their pool is gorgeous.

Highly recommended resort

Room Tip: On my first and second visit, I requested for the rooms fronting the pool. You have your own veranda...

This is a very nice hotel. The standard is good, not luxurious but indeed above average I would say. The hotel is located some 500m from the beach, which was actually nice since you then avoid the most touristic places when you feel like is, and can still easily access the beach areas.

Should I go to Panglao again I would definitely chose this hotel again. Given the price I think it is a better choice than the much more expensive (but also very luxurious) Amorita resort. However you should visit the Saffron restaurant at the Amorita as it is a great place with a fantastic view over the beach, but safe your money on accomodation and choose Regents Resort.

My and my 2 colleagues traveled to Bohol from Cebu but on our reserved accommodation cancelled the last minute (few minutes before we travel through sea vessel) we were pissed but we have to scan places while on our way. We came across this listing through Trip Advisor and without hesitation we booked it since we are really in need of a place to go even for one night only. Its somehow a blessing in disguise because we learned that this property is way way nearer to the beach (few minutes walk though not beach front compared to the first booking we had where in you have to travel for 15 minutes), and way way cheaper when in fact the facility is very nice, clean and comfy. The pool is small but a beauty. Rooms have air-con and water heater. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Someone even waited for us late at night to be sure we already came back to our room from our beach front bar hop. There's restaurant near the area which were also to die for. I would recommend this to everyone who doesn't mind walking to the beach front but take note its way cheaper and nicer than the ones we scanned through the beach front.

Room Tip: try to get a room in the main building as you have to cross the street to go to the pool if you choo...

Good service. Good location. Overall good hotel away from the touristy part of Alona beach. ;-). However the only downside is that Wifi was only available in the lobby. We were very satisfied with the hotel and especially the location and service.

We stayed at regents Park after our trip to Boracay and was happy to be off the beach and away from all the fireworks at new years eve. The location was good and we booked our tours at the front desk. The staff where just great and very helpful. We stayed three nights including the new year. On new years Day they had a realty nice buffet and a band playing so no need to go to the beach. It was just perfect.

We stayed in a double room in the main building which was of ample size, generally well kept and not far from the pool. Would recommend this over the annex which is on the other side of (a not very busy) road. Location is perfect if you don't need to be right on the beach and swimming pool was pretty big and well looked after. The staff were very good and helpful when we had issues with our safety deposit box. The gym is not included but had a day free and paid 100PHP for the second, which I was happy to as it is new and well kitted out. However only gripe was having to pay for a pool towel - I know it's not an expensive hotel but this just seemed petty. I disagree with previous comments about deposit and stains etc - our was refunded without any hassle at all. We ate breakfast here which was pretty good and ate out the rest of the time.

Room Tip: Main Building for sure and then request what type of bed you require - we booked twin because we wan...
