Restaurant is located on a bee farm. They grow veggies themselves. So there are many vegetarian options. They have a souvenier shop as well. Service is ok. You can take a tricycle from Alona beach and ask it to wait for a trip back.

I read great reviews about Bohol Bee Farm and we just had to try it the second time around in Bohol. The food was organic and the restaurant boasted of its organic farm and practices in helping save the environment.

We enjoyed our lunch that was a set meal that included sugba, kinilaw, salad, ice cream, lumpia and seafood. It came with a steep price, for a group of 4 we spent appriximately Php 3,700++. But the experience was worth it. The place had a great view of the sea and the wind was just right to keep us fresh. The restaurant itself was homey and was mostly made of food. The restrooms were also in good shape.

They also offered a farm tour which taught us horticulture and vermiculture. However, there were no bees when we visited because of a typhoon that wiped out the colony in 2012 =(

Overall, it was a great experience worth trying =)

We went for dinner so didn't really see the bee farm, but the restaurant food was yummy and the servings were big. The special tea/drinks were also very good.
The souvenir shop was still open when we finished dinner so we got some teas and baskets.
