Spending a lot of time around Surrey and Delta, BC, I am kind of spoiled when it comes to Indian food, as there are many great and authentic choices - due to the high percentage of people from the Indian subcontinent that live in that area.
I was very surprised to find an Indian restaurant in Beaumont that is at par with the best Indian food that the lower mainland has to offer. Granted, the "heat level" is reduced to accommodate Canadians with less tolerance for spicy food. Otherwise, everything on the buffet was fresh, delicious and had high quality ingredients. I especially enjoyed the Mango Chicken.
The Lunch Buffet was $13.50 - a bargain for what was offered.
Well worth driving a bit from surrounding communities. Be sure to use your GPS, this place is kind of hidden in a strip mall off the main highways. Also, don't be put off by the somewhat dingy appearance of the area. Once you sit in the restaurant and enjoy the food, this truly does not matter any longer!
