Yes,
This hotel is not close to town or pretty much anything else to be honest. We had a hire car so no real drams. The parking downstairs was great.

We enjoyed our stay there.

Check in was easy, the rooms are easy to find, and pretty well appointed, even though old school.
The bed was comfy.
The only thing missing here was anywhere to put anything in the shower?????
No soap holder, no nothing. VERY strange.

The bar staff down stairs are just amazing, and this really made our stay very enjoyable.

The breakfast was quite good, plenty to pick from, and the staff are very happy and friendly.

We would stay here again for sure.

We arrived in a weekday that was rainy. We followed the adress as it appears in BOOKING.It doesn't mention thst it is a out of town Hotel.Important if you are trying to get there by car -one has to add Acicastelloo or will be taken to a different location in Catania. Not a neighborhood for a hotel.
Besides that -on the beach;with restaurants accross the street.Big /spacious room.
Tasty breakfast. The restaurant -Tino I think it is named -good service and good food.
Parking on location. But plenty of parking room out of the hotel.By the time we were ther it was free.In the hotel they charged by the day
It is a convention center as well.
There is a big pool and a SPA
A place for a good vacation

No service was to the level.. acceptable, but never good enough - way under the Starwood quality. We stayed for 5 nights at what was confirmed to be a king-size bed double room, but it had two single beds instead..The mini-bar had a broken outer frame which kept falling off each time we opened its door. We had a hot water kettle with coffee and tea in the room, but only the first day - they did not re-stock our coffee packets until we asked for it and when they did, they missed to leave proper cups for that - all cups we had in the room were glasses, which would have exploded had we poured hot drinks in them... No anti-bug nets on the balcony doors although there were plenty of mosquitoes all the time. The rooms are noise-proof from the inside, but the gap under the room door made it all useless. Room service re-stocked fully the small bathroom amenities only once - the rest of the days we had no shower gels/soaps re-stocked. The SPA ladies did not speak any language, but Italian. When we asked if they provided slippers for the SPA, they asked "what mean slippers?". Generally, apart from the concierge and the reception officers, noone at the hotel bothered to try and speak another language. A fee of EUR 10.00 was charged for using the SPA facilities for an hour - something that is usually free for guests of the Starwood hotels (and the SPA did not even have an indoor swimming pool).
The one good thing we took advantage of that seemed to (miraculously) work with no problems, was the free shuttle to the city center, which, for a hotel located far from the city, is a very useful service.
The overall feeling we got from this hotel, having stayed at many other Starwood hotels, was one of disappointment and dissatisfaction.

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better view to the sea.

This hotel is located in a residential area in the northern suburbs of Catania. Although it faces the sea, there is no beach, just cliffs of volcanic rock however, the view from the sea acing rooms is very pleasant. The hotel is set in well-tended gardens and has a swimming pool. The interior is very bright and modern - although finding your way around can be a bit of a problem - and offers underground parking and a gym. The reception staff are very friendly and cheerful. The dining room is also very bright and welcoming. I only took breakfast which was a vast buffet with something for every taste. Rooms are really spacious with two double beds, all the usual amenities and a balcony. The bathroom in mine was superb and immaculately maintained. Overall, this hotel deserves a four star rating. It's problem is the location as it isn't near to anything but, as a base for the business visitor or a tourist with a car, you will not find better.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are the best.
