stayed here summer 2012. Had our 2 year old son with us. The hotel was great for families. Staff all very helpful. Food was superb and over 2 weeks they only repeated a few things. Great choice every night. Lovely area to eat outside if not too hot. Rooms have everything you need. A bit basic, but very clean. Flat screen telly with various British channels which was great. Pool area spotless and not too busy start of June. Entertainment average, but have a kids disco before which our son enjoyed. Sorin the entertainer is great with the kids. We usually headed out after that to square or pine walk which is a matter of a couple minutes walk. Would highly recommend this hotel as it is well priced, great location and has everything you need.

My Boyfriend and I stayed here for a week last April. We had a wonderful time. The room was lovely, very clean and overlooked the swimming pool. The maids clean everyday and close your curtains for you so it's not too hot in the room when you come back (It was very warm when we went and the air conditioning does not start until May). You have to slot your room key into a holder on the wall for the electrics to work, which took us a good ten minutes to work out!
The food was very nice, a mix of English and Spanish food at breakfast and dinner. Always a huge variety on offer, which is good as I'm quite fussy. The only bad thing is you don't get any water/juice at dinner, you have to pay for all drinks.
The hotel is quite popular with cyclists, there were an awful lot of them staying when we went. But it meant it was very quite around the pool during that day as they were all out on their bikes.
Our Rep was a lovely Canadian woman, very helpful and informative. She told us about a walk you can take through the valley behind the hotel to a secluded cove only accessible by foot. We did it the next day, saw lots of wild goats and a lizard! It was a lovely walk, and the beach, although pebbly, was beautiful. Spent the whole afternoon there, and we wouldn't have known about it if she hadn't of told us. She said many of the guests who visited the hotel had been returning for 20 years, which we took as a good indication to how nice the hotel is, and we weren't wrong. We were very sad to leave, so have booked a two week holiday there for this year!
It is literally two minutes from the hotel to the beach on foot, the beach is beautiful, with lovely clear waters. We went snorkeling! At the marina you can catch boats to take you on trips round the bay, we went to Formentor beach by boat. Only had an hour there, so went again a few days later by bus- beware if you do not like heights! It is a very windy road, which goes up into the hills and back down again. There are a lot of steep drops, I spent most of the journey with my eyes closed praying we wouldn't go over the side! But it was worth it to spend a day on the beach there. There are lots of places to eat in Port de Pollenca, the buses go pretty much everywhere- Alcudia and Cala San Vincent are nice places to visit.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can buy stamps at reception for sending postcards to England, and post them in the box at reception. The hotel is very quiet, only noise comes from the dining room at night when the entertainment is on, but it finishes at 11pm. The pool is very cold, even on a day when it was boiling, it was still too cold for me to get in and a have a dip to cool off!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone whose looking for a nice peaceful, relaxing holiday!

Room Tip: Rooms away from dining room as this is where they do evening entertainment.

As always a lovely stay all the ladies in the restraint are very helpfull and reception staff to, it’s just a pleasure to go back to this hotel . The beds are comfortable a free TV with a few English channels and music channels, the gardens are well keeped, the pool is my only complaint it’s so cold. Two min’s walk to a sandy beach, It’s not to fare to walk to what we call the Spanish square, it has an old church with trees and many bars, there is a small bar right on a corner all the Spanish sit there at night the coffee is very good and quite a good price! If you go to the tourist information centre there are a few bars in Pollenca on a Thursday or Friday night that do a glass of wine and a small dish of tapas for 1.50 euro, they have a list of the bars, I was told this by a local lady, A bus ride to the old walled town in Alcuda is a must. Only 15 min’s on the bus. The market day in Alcuda is very busy to busy!! The market in the Spanish square in pourt del pollenca on a Wednesday is small but much better .

Having spent a week at this hotel this July we enjoyed it so much that we went again in late September early October. Once again everythings was great, most of the holiday makers were elderly like ourselfs and thankfully the weather was good. As before everything was above our expectations and we will certainly be back next year if these good reviews haven't let the secret out this the resort and the hotel are great. Friendly staff as well. The entertainment was good especially the permanent staff. With the exception of the Micheal Jackson Tribute, he could dance but he couldn't sing.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room with a view of the mountains ask for a rear room in either A & B blocks...
