We have just returned from a wonderful short break at the Sis Pins hotel. We were welcomed late on Friday night by a crackling log fire in the cosŷ lounge area. What a lovely start to our holiday. Our thanks to the staff who were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's setting beside the sea was perfect and a return visit is a must.

We live in South West Mallorca and had a reason to be in Pollensa on a Saturday but decided after seeing the publicity that Hotel Ses Pins was staying open all year round and their special offer of a "Valentines Month of Love" that we decided to make a weekend of it.
My wife and I arrived Friday evening 22nd February and entered the hotel to a welcoming warm wood burning fire. Ah, I thought good start....but there was more to come. We entered our room and awaiting us was a Bottle of Cava on ice, a large plate of juicy strawberries and a heart shaped box of chocolates.
The room was perfect and the view stunning even in winter.
The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
As my wife says we have to do this more often.......I know what she means.
Highly recommended and you don't have to wait till next Valentines.

Very Clean and relaxing hotel. Staff were very attentive. The views are spectacular even in the winter. We'll be back! The bar and lounge areas were built for relaxing and chilling with a drink and a book or good company.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view.

This hotel offers a really excellent offseason rate between November and March. And in particular for single rooms.
Take profit of it ! It is a shame that, even at that price, it is far from being full.
At this rate, this hotel is really perfect. Good rooms, friendly service, good breakfast.
Puerto Pollenca has a local population and does not completely close in the winter.
The only drawback is that the public bus to Cape Formentor does not run.

This hotel is in a wonderful location looking out across the bay, the staff are extremely friendly and the hotel is very clean and well maintained, the owner is I believe a Yorkshire man who should be very proud of his hotel and all its staff . The bar and restaurant are run by Cappuccino a small up market chain, personally I think this is a great addition to the hotel and Puerto Pollensa. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you book a room with a sea view (such as 124) the view is simply wonderful!

We've been to Puerto Pollensa a number of times with our children. Now they're old enough to prefer their holidays without their parents, we chose to take advantage of the fact at the Sis Pins. As other reviewers have suggested, this is a very desirable part of town, away from the traffic on the main strip, as convenient as it could possibly be for restaurants and bars, and just a few metres away from the sea.
The hotel itself is well-maintained and its public areas cool, airy and well-decorated. We booked a little later than usual and for that reason, we weren't able to find a room with a balcony and a sea view; although the balcony would have been nice, the sea view was the better option for us. Some rooms with terraces and balconies do seem rather overlooked or give you a view of the rather ordinary street behind the hotel. (OK - there are mountains; but I think the street would probably hold your attention more...).
There was an up-side to the lack of a balcony; our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did have a rainy day during our stay and we were glad to have somewhere to sit where we could simply watch the rain over the sea.
There's a private terrace opposite the hotel. Some reviewers have complained that there isn't enough space and there aren't enough sunbeds, but that really wasn't our experience at all. Of course the ones right next to the sea fill up first; if you really want one of them, get up earlier! But if you can live with having to walk twelve or fifteen feet from your sunbed to the sea, then you'll be fine. The beds are close together, but not uncomfortably so. And the people we were sharing our space with were relaxed and pleasant (obviously they were enjoying their holiday, too) so it really wasn't a problem at all. And anyway, you don't have to spend every day on the terrace. If it's not for you, there's one of the best beaches in the Mediterranean - and we've been to a good few - an easy walk away. Or take a trip over to Formentor. But if all you want to do is relax, soak up the sunshine and swim, you'll find yourself in good company.
The rooms were very clean and in good order. The bed, too was very comfortable. As is usually the case in this part of the world, you'll be more comfortable with a good plug-in insect repellent and the windows closed at night. There's wi-fi available in the lounge and public areas - but it's actually really good wi-fi and, if your room's at the front, you can usually pick up the signal with your mobile device from there. A definite plus.
Breakfast was good. Space doesn't really allow for an unlimited range of options, but you still have a good choice, including fruit, cereal, croissants or a cooked breakfast. Although most of it's self service, anything you order it served quickly and pleasantly.
There's a lot to like at Sis Pins; sadly, we won't be booking next year, largely due to the fact that we're funding a trip to Peru for son no. 2 and it's somewhat drained the resources for our second holiday of 2014.
But will we come again?
Definitely, yes. A recommendation.

Room Tip: There isn't much of a view at the back. I'd definitely choose a room with a sea view. Some r...
