Went with my wife for a week's relaxation. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight after a late flight. We were welcomed very kindly and were told that there was food for us when we had put our bags in our rooms, which as most thoughtful and welcome. The cold meat, boiled egg and salad with fruit juice just hit the spot and we went to bed looking forward to a good night's sleep, which we had. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary, but good and plentiful every day that set you up for the rest of it. We had booked half board to allow us to have flexible times out, so we made our own lunches. There are a number of bars, cafés and restaurants in the area plus a very well-stocked Spar supermarket just round the corner. Dinners again were very good, but nothing that really stands out, although well cooked and tasty with the exception of a steak that was rather tough, even though it had been cooked to order. Drinks with our dinners were included and the wine and beer on tap for however much you wanted, which was a bonus.
The pool area was good with plenty of loungers. There are also two other grassy areas and a 'solarium' (a concreted area) that all got the sun for most of the day. The bar was excellent and well stocked. We only had a G&T and a Mojito each, which were both good measures for the price.
The entertainment was very good, especially the Flamenco evening. Kids are well provided for with play areas, shallow part of the pool and games in the evening before the adult's entertainment. There are competitions ranging from rifle-shooting, pétanque, 'hoops', darts and water-polo throughout the day with the winners receiving 'diplomas' in the evening.
Buses to most of the areas worth visiting for half a day stopped just five minutes walk away and most ran every fifteen minutes. We went on a 'glass-bottomed' boat trip that was not cheap, as expected, but an excellent and interesting two hours. We also walked to the local Nature reserve that boasted many varieties of birds and insects, but it must have been their day off when we went. However, it was a good walk along the beach in the fresh air. Pollensa town Sunday market wads nothing special, mainly clothes, flowers and souvenirs. If you like history, as we do, then it is worth visiting fascinating Alcudia old town - 1€ 50 by bus from stop on the front nearest to Pollensa Park Hotel. As a walled town It is very picturesque and you can walk round the town on the walls if you wish.

We reckon that for all this, it should have a 4* rating. For us the only negative comment is about the beds, which we found uncomfortable and woke at times through the night with stiff backs. I am a fairly light sleeper and was woken up regularly by the sounds of people coming in at various times of the night. moving furniture and banging doors that seemed to travel up through the bed and pillow. We did not have a good nights sleep at all and were tired out for most of the following mornings.

This, of course, is based on personal experience only and others may not have experienced the same problems at night. With this one reservation, we would still recommend the hotel for couples and families.

Room Tip: get a high floor overlooking the pool.

We stayed at the Pollensa park for 9 days all inclusive and and had areally great time. The rooms were nice we had a mountain view room but could still see the port to the side. You can pay for a sea view but all the side rooms have some sort of sea view.
The food was really nice we are not especially fussy eaters but the choice was plenty for our tastes. Loads of salads diffrent types of breads, always a pasta choice with sauces. Wine, beer and soft drinks on tap in the dining room.
The bar in the evening we had to wait to get out spirits and hot drinks (I think a machine like in the dining room would help where you could get your own hot drinks)but it was never too long and the paying guests waiting just as long as us it was first come first serve basis.
There were loads of daily activities archery, shooting, boules etc the pool was a bit cool though not heated brrrr.
All in all I have no complaints and have travelled extensivly I feel for 3* they did very well and I would cetainly go back again.

Room Tip: Get a higher floor and if you want to save money dont go for a sea view as if your higher up you can see it anyway from the side !.

We returned yesterday from a 11 night stay at this hotel & can not believe the standards in this hotel for the price you pay, we have stayed in many places with higher star ratings & a lot higher price but were a lot worse than the Pollensa Park. Food was excellent, rooms cleaned daily, staff worked very hard to ensure a pleasant stay. As for the bar the only problems were the large queues that form when people wanted hot drinks, not a issue, but as you can appreciate takes a lot longer to serve so queues built up Beer & soft drinks were help yourself!!! All I can say in response to the people who complain is Why are you booking into this Hotel when you are obviously used to staying in 5*+ properties, waited on hand & foot, & pay £5000+ for your holidays??

Just back from a week all inclusive at Pollensa Park hotel. Had read reviews before booking and before we went on trip adviser, bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is nice, food is good, but not up to normal all inclusive hotels that we have previously been to. An example of this is tea/coffee outside is in polystyrene cups, if you want a coffee in the evenings from the bar you will be charged half price normal price! Dinning room gets very busy at Dinner times and can feel a bit like a canteen. There was no welcome book in the bedroom and was just handed a photo copy of meal times on arrival. Hotel welcome books in rooms are normal, for gaining some local information on the hotel and local area, i.e. buses, local market days etc.
Staff where ok, not very friendly as some comments have previously stated. The rooms are clean, and most areas in the hotel are clean and tidy, though some extra staff around the pool area would be helpful to keep it tidy.
I would recommend the spa, treatments are very reasonable priced. The hotel is located about 5 mins from a lovely sandy beach.
We where roadside on the 4th floor and could hear the music every night from the various bars nearby until midnight.
We would not use this hotel again for all inclusive, but try a different hotel in Pollensa. which is a lovely town.

If your into just sun worshipping and going to british karaoke bars then the Pollensa park is a perfect location for this - with karaoke bars lining up around the corner aswell as a couple of supermarkets and beach stalls.

The beach is gorgeous and only a 5-10 min walk away alongside local shops and restaurants. Hotel is clean and comfortable but very british!! buffet food everyday is mainly brit friendly dishes - fry up's for breakfasts etc... no local food in sight which is a real shame except for one night they had paella on the buffet which was good. Lunchtime seemed to be the best time for the buffet with fresh mussels and tasty food would arrive but I found breakfast and dinner to be a disappointment.

If your looking for culture then this isn't the place for you. If your looking for a home from home in the sun and don't want to do anything but drink and lie in the sun then its perfect. Pool is large, clean and a nice spot. Evening entertainment isn't amazing but karaoke bars are around the corner. Lots of families stay here, more family than couple orientated, kids club every night. Staff seemed friendly enough.

Recommend the island tour (book at reception) as you get away from the resort and see the 'Real Mallorca' which made the trip, as the island is so beautiful.
