My wife and I came here the 1st week in May 2013. All that great reviews reviews given for La Cabana are truly deserved.
We had the tapas which was freshly prepared and was delicious! It's a great place to chill out and relax and you can choose whether to sit outside facing the beautiful bay, inside in the beautiful spotless restaurant or have a great meal in the wonderful courtyard to the rear.
It really is worth the trip. You won't be disappointed!

Having researched Trip Advisor for Restaurants prior to our visit, we headed to La Cabana for our first evening meal and were delighted by a warm welcome, absolutely wonderful food and first class service. The freshly prepared tapas must surely rate amongst the best on this beautiful Island. We returned here on another four occasions during our eleven night stay and experienced more from their excellent range, accompanied by superb wines and delicious sweets. We found Jo and Adam to be absolutely delightful Hosts and it is the first place that we will head for in October this year, when we hope to return with Relatives. Apart from the fantastic view across the bay whilst eating on the front terrace, it is really homely inside the restaurant on a cool evening and at lunchtime a lovely cool and coverable outside rear terrace. We really look forward to repeating the experience.

The whole front was very quiet when we visited but there was still a pleasant atmosphere in this place which is situated right on the front. Its a lot deeper than it looks from the front. Service was very friendly and attentive without being over intrusive. It is a tapas bar and has an extensive choice on offer but we elected for the 20 Euro (each) menu (there is a 15 E one as well). The meal was surprisingly filling and very tasty. You can see into the spotless kitchen and see that the food is prepared on site. They did not overcharge for sparkling water (a pet hate of mine!). A very pleasant, typically Spanish meal which was excellent value. Would definitely go back. Recommended.

This place is a little gem. We ate there twice during our stay in Puerto Pollensa and had one of the excellent set tapas menus. The food was top quality and generous portions with good friendly service - excellent value. On hot days you can eat on the front terrace opposite the sea and watch the world go by. On cooler days you can eat inside or in the sheltered terrace at the rear of the restaurant. The hosts are very friendly and chatty and help to make the experience even better. The €2.95 coffee and cake deal is one of the best bargains in town - and that's coming from a Yorkshireman! On our next visit we will head straight for La Cabana. Jo and Adam, the young Geordie couple who run La Cabana do a tip-top job - and they speak almost perfect English!

In some ways it undersells itself, as it's unassuming amongst a frontage of shops and bar/restaurants, but it's quite lovely.
The lady who greeted us was so pleasant and friendly and we felt at home immediately.
The tapas was lovely, fresh and varied - a really nice menu of food for the very reasonable price.
We eat in the courtyard which was quiet and sunny.
A really enjoyable experience. We've been visiting Puerto Pollensa for over 20 years and would certainly recommend La Cabana to anyone.
We'll certainly go back, it's a cut above so many of the other places in Pollensa.
