Description: This Mallorcan restaurant is located in an old basement that was previously used for winemaking. Its delicious dishes and carefully chosen menu are the result of its wood-fired ovens and its rustic setting. It also offers vegetarian dishes. Recommended by a Welsh couple, we decided to give it a try on Friday 1 November. Lovely restaurant, frequented by locals( always a good sign).
We had amazing suckling pig, and then , because it was so good we went back on Sunday 3 November to celebrate my husband's birthday.....amazing slow Cooked shoulder of lamb.
This is a jewel of a restaurant, especially as it such Spanish fare , rather than bland food to cater for the tourists as is often the case in Mallorca. The staff, led by Alex, are great too.
To be TRIED!!!! You will not be disappointed

We were recommended by the owner of the villa we rented to try this restaurant. She said it was good food at a reasonable price. We tried to visit on the first Sunday of our holiday only to be turned away as it was fully booked, so we booked it for the Thursday night. We had a lovely meal, accompanied by a bottle of their own house red wine which was for the price (cheap as supermarket wine at home) really good. We enjoyed it that much we booked it again for the last night of our holiday.

Why eat anywhere else? This is our 3rd trip to Majorca in 5 years (twice in 2008). We stayed near Pollensa and Aldudia Old Town and when we first tried Celler la Parra in 2008, we kept returning. This time I agree, in 2013 it is better than ever. The wine, the food, home cooked desserts and a great affinity. Tried to book for last friday 4th October they were fully booked, but Mama comes from Shirley, Croydon and so does my husband and she said "Fit them in" twice in a week, and we were so impressed with the paella, the tenderloin of pork and the entrecote steak with peppercorn sauce, as well as Mum's homemade tiramasu and cheesecake.
The service is so very good, everything is so clean, attention to detail formidable and well done Parra, you have kept your prices reasonable, unlike everywhere else. This is why you are always busy, you deserve it.
We have recommended you to our villa company - Villa Select - like you they have been excellent.

Have visited this restaurant every time we have been in Pollensa. Always excellent but this time even better. Maybe it was because of the wait. We tried to dine there on our first night but they were fully booked so we booked for a few nights later. Great service, they even noted that I wanted the mussels. I wasn't disappointed. And the liver Mallorcan style was delicious. Thanks again for a lovely evening Celler La Parra. We'll be back.

Fabulous restaurant. Food was delicious. Simple, high quality and traditional. The outside seating area is delightful, with grape vines growing around you. Despite being on a busy-ish road, its peaceful and atmospheric. Inside is just as stunning, it felt like a little museum.
The service was great and much more laid back than the more rushed service on the beach front, Just two waiters, both very friendly and welcoming.
Service and ambience were clearly more important than profit. They turned away at least a dozen couples whilst we ate as they were fully booked. But there is space for them to squeeze plenty more tables in to the outside area.
We paid less than 60 euros for a 3 course meal and 2 rounds of drink for 2 of us. Much better value for money than any other restaurant we tried.
I can't recommend Celler la Parra highly enough! But drop in and book a table to avoid being disappointed!
