“Very good but you need to book”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

This place is worth a visit. Great ravioli and cumin fishcakes and we found this good value for money too. Only downside no sea views. You will need to book in advance as this place is popular.

“You will have to book”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This wonderful restaurant opens from 7 to 10 Sunday to Friday closed Saturday and if you haven't booked its unlikely you will get in. I think that speaks for itself. It's probably the most popular amongst the British expats and they should know they are here all the time.
The hand made ravioli starter ( all starters are 5€) are different everyday and a taste sensation. Mussels starter also well flavoured and not in cream and white wine, you will have to visit I'm not telling.
Mains all 10€ pork lots of taste great veg, stuffed chicken very flavoursome, disappointed with the steak but good meat.
Drink a little excessive.
Desserts let the place down a little very little difference between most flavoured cream of one type or another on biscuit. Will try the filled pancakes next time.
I think it is fair to say most people are there in families or romantically and the atmosphere is a little flat but if you want good food at a good price you should not miss this.
Staff efficient and friendly

“Cheap, but not cheerful.”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

Well-priced & attractive choices on the menu, but the reality was disappointing - my risotto was undercooked though tasty, and my wife's main course could have come off the school canteen.
There was a lack of relaxed ambience, and the waitresses gave the appearance that they were struggling to cope. The place was trying to be continental, but remaining uncomfortably British.

“Food surprisingly bland!?”
Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

Went to Tribeca with Trip Advisor's favourable reviews ringing in our ears... took quite a while for our orders to be taken. . Getting a bit desperate as we had a long day and were famished.

Starter soup was fine, starter fish cake with a hint of cumin, if I hadn't known I'd thought I was eating an onion bhajee.
We both had sirloin steak in a pepper sauce (standard pub fare) - the steaks were very tender, but why so bland? Very lacking in taste. Oh, give me a bit of chewy steak if only to get some beefy tastiness out of it! Sauce under seasoned and lacking in peppercorns.

The place was busy and mostly British and polite. The pricing is quite reasonable I suppose ( 10 euros for every mains) but if you add on the fries and veg (which are treated as separate orders) it isn't that much different from other restaurants.

Will not be back.

“Worst meal we have had in Puerto Pollenca.”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

The only positive thing I can say is that the prices are reasonable. 5 euros for starters and 10 for mains.
The rice in the risotto starter was under cooked. Flavours ok. My pork with apple and olive stuffing could have been anything. It was dried up and tasteless and the roast potatoes burnt. Veg consisted of soggy broccoli and carrots. My husbands ravioli was not so bad but few of them in the dish and one was empty!
We had to wait 40 mins between starter and main.
The restaurant seems to be run by English ladies .....one of which could do with some customer care lessons. The place was busy....all British folk. A few didn't look too impressed. We will certainly not return. There are many far better places to eat in the Port.
