We visited this restaurant last night, lured in by it's busy atmosphere and prominent position on the front. We ordered the Paella and were really disappointed - the Paella was served onto plates away from the table do we didn't get to see what it looked like when it came out but the portions were quite small. We'd ordered the mixed Paella and had expected it to be full of meat and seafood - unfortunately this wasn't the case. We each had 2 large prawns, 2 mussels and 2 clams and the main Paella mix primarily consisted of undercooked rice and peas, with the very occassional piece of meat which was more bone than meat. When asked by the waiter how the food was, we told him the Paella was terrible which he seemed surprised by, claiming their Paella's were the best in Pto Pollensa! He then went away (we suspect to examine the Paella) and then came back and agreed it was not upto standard and had removed it from the bill, but by this point the experience had put a real dampener on the whole evening. Having read the other reviews on trip advisor, it seems that the good outweigh the bad so maybe we'd just been unlucky but I wanted to share our experience.

This is not a particularly cheap place to eat, but the food, location, and service were very good, and I would recommend it highly. Carlos andthe staff are very professional, friendly and attentive. We hope to return in May and possibly get round to staying in those beautiful appartmentos. Good luck Carlos.

The food here is really really good. A great choice, the Paella is fantastic. Good choice of wine cannot fault the place, highly recommend this restaurant right on the shore - perfect

We visited this restaurant when on holiday in September. Fantastic food, well presented and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I am coeliac and it was great to find a restaurant that not only understood gluten free food, but especially catered for special diets. The choice I had was brilliant and everything tasted fantastic. Even though my husband and I were staying at an all inclusive hotel we returned the following evening as we both enjoyed it so much. It's just a shame we came across the restaurant when we only had two nights left of our holiday!

We ate here based on its location and our guide book's recommendation and whilst it wasn't disappointing I don't think it was entirely worth the extra cost. The wine in particular, although a good list, seemed expensive. Tumbet was not the best, too much emphasis on making it look cheffy rather than focusing on the basic ingredients. This was followed by excellent pork and suckling pig. The menu itself is actually fairly creative and well put together. Service was friendly.
