We took the small Pergola apartment for a very short 3 nights stay. It was beautifully decorated, very space efficient and extremely cosy. From the very warm welcome to a very nice invitation to see the rest of the building, Franco and Patrizia will make you feel at ease and at home. Borgo dei Cadolingi is perfectly situated as a base to explore Tuscany. At the very heart of the countryside, your about the same distance to Siena and Florence. The complimentary bottle of Franco's own very nice wine and the lovely chat in their cellar were the cherry on top of an already perfect cake. We will be returning as soon as possible. Usually we try new things but here we found the gem so, no need to keep looking.

Nearly everything about the Borgo is perfect. The little appartment we had was small, but perfect for two people. It was very beautifully decorated and very cosy.
The swimmingpool was perfect to cool off after a day of visiting sites in beautiful Tuscany.
It's in a tiny quiet village, yet everything you need is within a 15 min drive. Most of the major cities to visit (San Gimignano, Firenze, Siena, ...) are within a one-hour drive.
The owners are super friendly and make the stay an experience to remember!
I definetely would recommend this to everyone, and we are now persuading our family to visit it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in our Catignano apartments and their surroundings. Meals in our kitchen, on our balcony patio or on our friends' patio were delightful & relaxing by the pool chatting with Franco & Patricia were priceless. The history of this village along with the abandoned church and picture perfect gravel road is amazing in itself. Our hosts are simply delightful as well as helpful guiding us to great local restaurants, stores for supplies & must see sights. Some of us brought our bikes & found the cycling routes challenging but well worth the ride because of the Tuscan scenery. The comfortable & spacious apartments are beautifully decorated & very comfortable. Favourite sites: San Giminiano, Firenze, Cecina, Lucca, Montaione

The beautiful house lies in a small quiet town, Catignano, with a swimmingpool and wifi! It's in a Tuscan style decorated, very tastful. The owners are very helpful, friendly and open-minded. There is a lot of history to be told about the Borgo and the surroundings. The owner has a vinyard and a wine cellar. Florence and Sienna are good to be visited by train. Put your car in Certaldo and take the train there. Other nice villages are San Gimignano, Volterra and Montaione in the neighbourhood.

The reviews on Tripadvisor helped me in choosing this property for my family (6 adults, a toddler and a baby). I am so glad I did! The hosts were beautiful and very accommodating of our needs. Their daughter Nicoletta was an absolute joy to deal with, making the booking easy and effortless. The property oozes charm, warmth and character, the curtains in our apartment were hand made by Nicoletta"s great grandmother! Relaxation greeted us as soon as we stepped over the threshold, to the point that it was hard to tear ourselves away for the easy day trips to Vinci, Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano etc. Laying on lounges under the Tuscan sun, breathing in the intoxicating perfume of the Jasmine vines whilst sipping a glass of wine from the neighbouring vineyard seemed like a temptation almost impossible to resist. This whole experience was one of the highlights of our trip... purely delightful!
