A lovely setting, from the well tended gardens to the terraces to the pool, this seven room hotel is a great place to relax. We stayed in the Eureka suite, a large room with the bed on a mezzanine level above a sitting room and kitchenette.

Breakfast catered for all palates, with a good mixture of both sweet and savoury options including fresh fruit, several types of organic honey, freshly baked cakes, freshly baked savoury options and fantastic tomatoes and mozzarella and to drink several types of juice, still and sparkling water and freshly made coffee.

The dinner menu changed daily, offering two options for each course, (antipasti, primi, secondi) usually one fish and one meat or vegetable and several desserts. The restaurant also offers a two tasting menu options and the wine list includes a broad selection of local wines.
We thought the food was excellent and the service matched the food, expect to pay around €100-€125 for dinner and a mid priced bottle of wine.

We used Marribino as a base to explore the local area, particularly worth a visit, in our view are Modica, Noto, (but in both cases seek out the old town rather than the new) and on the coast Marazima and for a deserted beach, try the wildlife reserve Vendacari.

We would recommend a trip to Torre 's vineyard for a tour and tasting. We have been on several vineyard tours, but never one on a fully 'biodynamic' vineyard, for biodynamic think organic 'plus'. The highlights of the tasting were the Rose and the Nero d'avolo reserva, both, in our view, hidden gems and worth seeking out.

We were promised a relaxing week - and that it was. Fabulous food, extremely friendly staff, delightful setting and all spotlessly clean and well presented.
Just magic!

Room Tip: Only seven rooms so can't say!

We loved this hotel. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The first day we arrived far too late for lunch but were immediately asked if we had eaten and then were promptly served a delicious plate of food. The setting, pool and gardens were spacious and beautifully maintained. Our room was quiet and comfortable only small request is for more clothes storage especially some drawers! The food was delicious with a different menu every night. There are lots of places to explore all within an hours drive some much closer. Beautiful beach within 10 minutes drive. The wine from the Marabino estate was excellent and it is well worth having a tour of the vineyard. We had a lovely holiday and wil certainly return.

Room Tip: The mezzanine rooms on the ground flor are spacious and ours at the front opened onto the terrace. U...

If your passion is gourmet food, you have found a home. This hotel is an historic tower that is completely restored on a hill in the middle of a large organic farm field. The setting is superb with grounds that are green grass and a large pool area and patio that is spacious and very comfortable. The rooms are nicely done but lacked the 5 star amenities such as lotion and robes and a great bed. The dining room is wonderful and evening meals are gourmet treats. Head Waiter is Salvatore and he is benissimo. Friendly, fun and speaks good english to translate the menu. Samona and Francisco are very talented and competent general managers. Wine tours are available at Marabino and others in the area. A good wine tour contact is Luca Pitino at info@sicilianwinetasters.com +39 334 8072695. Overall, our three night stay was marvelous and we would re-visit.

Room Tip: Choose a ground floor room to eliminate carrying luggage up very old steep stairs

We arrived in Ispica with the name of this hotel and were promptly lost. A lovely local person called the hotel and they immediately sent someone to guide us to Torre Marabino. That is the level of service we received during our stay. The hotel is an old military building beautifully restored and renovated. The area is filled with fields of tomatoes and basil. They play Vivaldi to the plants. The restaurant serves the food growing outside the hotel and it is exquisite. WE all felt fortunate to have found such a beautiful and welcoming place.

We loved this place so much that we plan on visiting again. The food in their resto is excellent and so are the wines. The breakfasts are very good and well rounded and the rooms are large and comfortable. I love huge bathrooms and these were!

We loved the charm and warmth of the place. Simone was so helpful and attentive and professional! Torre Marabino gets straight A's....something I cannot say for any of the other 6 hotels we stayed at while touring around Sicily!
