Almost full satisfaction: Nice sea & beach with sun umbrellas and beds. As it is a private one, you don't feel crowds of public beaches. A walk there takes about 5 minute, but you go through through nicely maintained garden.
Great lunches and dinners with good variety of starters and main corses. Breakfast was OK, but every day same. Vey nice staff always helpful, even if you don't speak Italian.
We had a standard room, that was very basic, but cleaned every day.
Swimming pool is just for children, but they enjoyed it a lot. Pool bar was always open, with a good choice of drinks, but small plastic cups for one use were really annoying. If you want to have one large bear, you need 5 plastic cups!
A village of Cardedu is one hour of walk so there are no options to go out, if you don't have a car.

2 star experience dressed up as 4 stars. Resort itself has a good position near the beach with a nice pool area. However the service is pitiful. The check-in experience made us feel totally unwelcome. For example the room was not ready, there was no communication, the room was not equipped with bathroom gel/shampoo/soap and it took 4 hours and 3 requests to obtain. The list goes on.

The breakfast was very low quality and even finished at 0930 which is too early for a holiday. For Euro 160 per night for 2 I would expect more. Could not wait to leave.

Well, it is not 4star hotel and definetaly not service in right meaning, but has peaceful atmosfere, friendly stuff that loves kids and delicious meal. Small variety of main meals, but fresh and tasty. If u do not expect much, u will got a lot, it works opposite too :-)) we have enjoyed our family holiday

Cala Luas is located right next to a beautiful beach with stunning vistas of the neighboring mountains. The water has been serene, clean, as is the beach. So far so good and based on these alone I may still recommend the place. When it comes to services, and especially interacting with non italian speaking guests, this place at times turns into the settings of a bizarre, Kafkaesque novel. "A man will come" has been the standard reply to some of our requests; "the man", indeed, has never come, and I am wondering if that was perhaps a religious statement. :) Getting online is nearly impossible: i am writing this from a nearby hotel as i am stealing its free wifi that is now impossible to get at Cala Luas. For some reason we have to turn in some last minute work online from here -- do not expect to easily get online despite the claims on the hotel website. The first day, out of despair, i had to threaten to stay put at the reception until i could access the internet. I was issued a new access code and finally connected - for about 12hours until things returned to the non working status quo. When asked to speak to the manager, we were denied access to his/her phone number on accountof being too busy. Indeed, for most, these may not be dealbreakers for most. For us right now, they happen to be. Some favourite quotes: "yes you can borrow a pen but return quickly, we need them for other guests" (pen was broken) / "if internet is broken, not my fault" or "we can secretly send your postcards in the morning, not officially because we sell our own ones". Depending on your current mood, Cala Luas oscillates from beautiful, through bizarre, to hillarious. (One sometimes muses how Greece is defaulting, and not Italy.)

We had a great time. Room was beautiful. Bed was little bit uncomfy but you can get used to it. Food was amazing. Beach is really beautiful and it´s not that far from hotel. You have just 1 hotel near by so it´s calm. If you´re looking for some night life or some monuments you don´t have a chance. But if you´re looking for relax this is the right place. All programs by animators are just in Italian and they don´t really speak english.

Room tip: We had a room nearby reception and it's the closest room to sea.
