“Fantastic skiing with great slopes!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

I visit Hafjell about five times a year. I enjoy every minute I am here. The snow is plentiful and the varied slopes are well maintained. There are blue and green slopes for those wanting an easy descent. There are reds and blacks that are challenging but not out of reach even for a novice skier. There are three chair lifts, a gondola and many button and T bar lifts. It is no wonder this resort was part if the Lillehammer Olympics 1994. Lillehammer is 15 mins away by car or bus and is well worth a visit. There is a bob sledge you can ride and two great bars at the bottom of the slope by the information centre. The queues are rarely long for the lifts so you can spend more of your time skiing!

“Great place to go skiing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2013

We go there every winter - several times if we can. Great slopes for learning to do slalom, and even greater slopes for those who want a challenge. If you go all the way to the top, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the valley on the way down. Plenty of places to take a break on the way down (and get the kids some hot chocolate when they are weary).

Lots of places around the slopes where you can rent all the equipment you need.

“Great variety of slopes.....”

I go here skiing with my son several times each winter. We are lucky to be living within reach of many ski resorts, but this is by far our favourite!
