We were group of four people sharing a beautiful day together on wondorful Crete. On our way to the famous beach which was almost too windy that day we had the best and most inspiring meal during our two weeks. It really is traditional greek cousine, and we tasted food which was different from the food in the tavernas by the beaches. We had for instance ocra in tomato sauce and other kinds of beans, and we had stuffed wine leaves and leaves from the courgette stuffed with rice and mint and goods. We also had lam and the owner (or his father) had thier own lams and goats nearby the resaurant. They also had their own retzina. It was a hot day and there were only few customers in the restaurant, so they had plenty of time to talk to us. The pictures and home made paintings on the wall were interesting and artistically well performed, and they had been taking good care of us during our stay. We hope to come their again both for the food and for the atmosphere. As long as they keep the prizes like the rest it is absolutely recomendable, and it would be a beautiful place to have a wedding or so.
