My wife and I live about an hour from Sant Feliu de Guixols and have been there but never eaten at El Ginjoler. We were pleasantly surprised by its location behind the walls of a monastery in an open courtyard. At times a bit chilly when the sun was blocked by passing clouds but a lovely, peaceful place to dine. The service was inconsistent but when we got attention was attentive. The plates we tried - carpaccio de gambas, botifara con calamares, and buñuelos de bacalao - were exquisite. We'll be back.
