I came here with an academic group for a research conference, and I will be back anytime I'm in the area. The views from the hotel and surrounding paths were INCREDIBLE, and I spent my free time in the pools or the easily-accessible ocean. We ate from the buffets each mealtime, and I probably gained 5 pounds in 5 days. Everything from the coffee to the grilled food to the baked goods and desserts was delicious. I only wish the service was open later at night, and the nearby town is pretty small, so this wouldn't be the best place for a crazy nightlife experience. But, this helps to keep the evening friendly and relatively calm

Never been to costa bra a before but was pleasantly surprised. The scenery and weather was lovely. Hotel was well positioned just outside the main town but within easy walking distance. Our room was large and light with all the necessary amenities but as it was slightly out of season it was noisy in the daytime cos of building noise.

We visited Positano in August and had an excellent two days at Eden Roc. The hotel is up out of the old town (an uphill walk) but we preferred this as it was less chaotic, you could drive to the front door and the views were amazing!
The pool is great for cooling off, but did get busy in the afternoon.
We hired the hotel's electric car for an afternoon to explore along the coast and this was great fun. A good way for a couple to see more and less stressful than taking a full sized car.
The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was probably too extensive, but the coffee was the best we had in Italy. It's not cheap, but I would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Below review says it perfectly. Not terrible, but no facilities. No daytime food or snacks, no hotel bar past 11pm except for warm cans of beer behind the reception. Pool dirty and in need of a good clean. Might have been nice 30 years ago.

Eden Roc must of been great when it first opened. But Eden Roc has seen better days. The staff is unpleasant, and very unhelpful. The Decor is dated. The resort is falling apart renovations are needed. The Pool has no surveillance, there's a swim by bar but there it's abandoned.. The restaurants and bar have very restrictive hours, especially when you have kids and aren't very accommodating. It's almost as if they don't want to serve you and take your money. In the highest season, the resort didn't really seem that busy. there are dining rooms completely abandoned.. The place is a real maze and easy to get lost at first.. Our rooms were located across an unlit abandoned dining room which had a door labeled emergency exit. I'm not saying i had a horrible time there. the food is good and the pool was fun.. but this place could be so much better if the people running it actually cared about the place.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for posting a comment. We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay at Hotel Eden Roc. Every year we make a lot of renovations of our equipment and buildings. Being so close to the the sea obliges us to renovate constantly parts of the hotel. Regarding the bar and the restaurant, schedule are 2 hour for each service, unless the dinner that is 2,5h.
I think the dinning room you saw closed is the Ayurvedic restaurant that remains closed during high season, as the Ayurved cures are more off season. I thank for saying that the resort doesn’t seem busy during the highest season, but we are 100% booked. I’m glad you didn’t feel that they were so many people in the hotel, sure because it is very large property with a very large garden.
Anyway, we will continue to improve all our services so all our guest can enjy their stay. Hope to see you again next year.

Best Regards
Brava Hoteles’ Team.
