We really had an expectation for eating good home cooking . We didn't expect a high level but we were very disappointed. Everything was as we expected when we walked in a good ambiance, two ' mothers ' looking after the kitchen and serving . A log fire burning and a neat and clean layout in the restaurant. The menu was 17 euro , as at weekends the menu of the day is not available. The starters were not too bad , my wife took the mussels and these were plain but well cooked , however nothing special in taste . I had the soup which was tasty but fatty . We went onto to the Paella . This was a huge let down . Almost no content in the paella, tiny scraps, and I mean scraps of chicken , boney tiny bits of beef and burnt out badly cooked 5 prawns . The rice was dripping wet . Didn't taste any flavour except salt . It's possibily the worst paella we ever had . Hoping for better we went onto to the deserts . These were worse than a supermarket quality . No taste at all . The creme caramel had no taste at all . No vanilla taste , not eggy taste not sweet caramel taste . My wife who is French had the Fromage Blanc which was dry and tasteless and the honey came out of a little square box . Terrible terrible terrible . It was service with a smile though , we didn't feel abused but it was a very poor meal and much lower than the write ups on trip advisor which we use all the time and normally find about right . We suggest you avoid this place there are so many others to choose in the area .
