Paco is a wonderful character, and the location of the hotel is magnificent, in the heart of this amazing village.
The food was great, both breakfast and dinner, and we felt really welcome.
It helps if you can speak a little Spanish, but Paco would I am sure manage even if there was no language in common. We tried to persuade him to sing, which he ddn't, bu he did give us a DVD of himself in his heyday.
When we arrived, hot and tired we said something about wanting to try the thermal baths, and within minutes Paco had got the Arab-style (modern) bath on the edge of town opened just for us. It was wonderful having it to ourselves; steam, hot water, very hot water, very cold water - it was great and we got back so relaxed we could barely stay awake to drink the wine and eat the very interesting dinner.
The only niggle was that our room was small and oddly arranged.More
