Not recommended. The attractive riverside setting and spacious room do not make up for the complete lack of hospitality and friendliness of this bed and breakfast. The graciousness we found elsewhere in Thailand was nowhere to be found here. We reserved a deluxe room for two nights. When we arrived instead of a warm welcome we were immediately asked to pay for both nights in advance. After handing over the money we were pointed in the direction of the room. No one offered to help with our luggage, or show us things worked in the room. During our stay we were never asked even once how we were doing or if there was anything that could be done to make us more comfortable. While the room was generally clean, the provided towels smelled of mildew. While one side of room had large window overlooking the river, the other side overlooked what was basically a garbage dump. The included breakfast was very meager and uninspired. The final insult was when I walked to down to the bar to purchase a cold drink and was charged extra for the ice. Generally when I stay at an upscale accommodation, and based on price that is what this is, I expect ice to be provided gratis. If this place was less expensive some of this could have been overlooked, but in this price range they need to do better.More
