We were delighted with our first experience (and I hope not the last) of this wonderful little restaurant. It's perched at the end of the harbour and we weren't sure what this diminutive little place would offer. In winter it's only open at weekends and one has to book in advance. When we called to book for the following night, we were told the main courses were either fillet of beef (£22.00) or lemon sole (£20.00). We ordered one of each. With a little trepidation, we duly went the following evening and what a splendid experience it was. The price also included an appetiser and a dessert, as well as coffee, representing excellent value. Service was professional and friendly from the lady owner and her husband, the chef, came out to have a word. When they realised we shared the same profession we were invited to look round the kitchen after service. What wonderful food is presented from such a small space!
Any lover of good food staying in the area should make the Harbour Restaurant a MUST.
Well done to the owners and you deserve the praise you get. Keep going!
