My husband and I wanted to go for lunch to their sister restaurant Black Creek Farm but due to all the rain the road to it was closed so here we were at Leaves & Fishes and -by the end of our lunch - how happy were we
Ambience Casually wonderful
Service Engagingly friendly
We asked for suggestions for all the 3 courses and went with them, sharing each course, so in effect had a degustation menu. It was heaven! Best meal we ate at the Valley. Also, upon asking, the proprietors were very gracious and give us lots of tips about the Hunter Valley and wineries for which we are grateful and which goes above and beyond what is expected. If there is one suggestion I could make it would be to offer complimentary bread.
Hopefully, it will just be as wonderful an experience next time we're up at the Hunter and when we hope also to visit their sister restaurant.
