“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed October 10, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

The location of the property was ideal, straight out onto the beach from the decking. The accommodation was very comfortable and anything that you could possibly require for your stay was at the property. Have already recommeded to friends and colleagues. Will definitely book again.

“Superb location, homely, comfortable - everything you need!”
Reviewed September 29, 2013 for a stay in April 2013

This was our second stay at this fantastic house. Such a treat to be able to walk out straight from the kitchen to the beach first thing in the morning. The kids couldn't believe their eyes when they arrived - a dream come true! The house is incredibly well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for everybody. And to top it all you can relax on the back terrace in the evening and enjoy the most spectacular sunsets over the Irish sea - heaven!

“Amazing house, right on the beach!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

After several years staying in the Borth area, we are so happy to have found the ultimate place to stay in Borth! House is fantastic, spacious, very well equipped, and in the perfect location right on the actual beach. Kids (age 13, 12, and 9) loved the fact that they could swim while we watched them from the terrace, and the fact there are two living rooms and plenty of places to escape from the adults! Clean, good bathrooms, great location with great waves and rocks in Borth, and gorgeous soft sand up the road in Ynyslas - what more could you want? Attic room is particularly amazing, with beautiful views of the sea ... what a way to wake up. Can't wait to go back next year ... book early, this place won't be free for long!

“Our second visit, as good if not better than the last time”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Have been to Windsor House on 2 occasions, both times with our family during the summer holidays . It has a fantastic location right on the beach which is perfect for our children. Their ages range from 10 to 22 years old and they all had a fantastic time, kayaking, body boarding etc all at the house so no need to bring your own. The house is very well equipped with modern facility's but also has some great quirky art, stag heads etc. Hoping to book our 3rd visit next year, cant recommend it enough. Try and bag yourself the top bedroom if you can, views are amazing.

“Fabulous location, house could be fantastic.”
Reviewed June 25, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

There wasn't any toilet paper when we arrived, either! We left lots when we left, though! Emma was a star and extremely helpful, so thank you.
Windsor House is right on the stoney pebble beach at Borth, please be aware that dogs are not welcome on the beach from April? to October which meant a car ride down to the lovely sandy beach just beyond the golf club - not a major problem.
The house itself is in need of some TLC which the owner has said will be liberally applied over the Winter. They are all minor faults, mainly cosmetic, but, again it would have been good to have been made aware before we arrived.
Something that prospective guests should be aware of are the stairs up to the master bedroom. The bedroom is in the eaves of the house - fantastic views from the loo and bath - but the last few stairs don't have a handrail - just the edge of the trap door to hold on to. We had an elderly parent with us who really struggled to use the stairs - only once. It was a shame because that room is the only en-suite and would be great as a self contained area for grandparents. Watch out for protruding floorboard and decking nails.
Simon the owner is great and the house has lots of outdoor kit to be used - boats, fishing rods etc.
Borth itself doesn't really have a lot to offer but we saw dolphins - which made our holiday!
