“Dalmatian Coast”
Reviewed October 18, 2010

We recently returned from a trip to the Balkian countries of Slovinia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro. The Dalmatian Coast of Croatia was our favorate. Resorts dot the coast and are becoming the new Riviera. All reflect the the Italian influence from years under Italian rule. The Plitvicka Lakes National Park was another site not to be missed. We toured with Gate 1Travel by bus and were very please with the entire trip.

“Dalmatian Coast”
Reviewed October 13, 2010

We recently took a trip to the Dalmatian Coast (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovia, Montenegro ending in Venice) through Gate 1 Travel. We traveled by bus through these countries with much of the trip visiting resort towns along the beautiful and lengthy Dalmation Coast. We also visited Sarajevo and the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park, in Croatia. These countries are not touristy as so many areas are. And the history we learned was eye opening. The coast resorts, reflecting their long Italian occupation, are fast becoming the new Rivera. We want to go back and stay on one of the islands. We have taken 5 trips with Gate 1 Travel and none have disappointed.
