Had to come here and have our picture taken at The Cape of Good Hope. Remember this from grade school? It was still nice despite the rain

Very scenic, very very windy ....... another place not to miss. You can use the cable car (49R return fare) or walk up. It is fascinating to see Indian Ocean and Atlantic ocean coming together. If you are wearing caps/hats, better take care of them else they will fly with the winds :)

Spectacular scenery; my wife loves lighthouses so we often make room for them in our travels. The road into the park is rocky and barren BUT there are wild zebras, baboons and springbok if you look carefully. The lighthouses were small and underrepair but the easy hike in along the rocky coast was outstanding! But remember, the ocean on both sides is the Atlantic. This is NOT where the Atlantic and Pacific/Indian oceans meet. That is further East.

A must when visiting Cape Town. A great cable car with a rotating floor so you don't miss out on any of the views. A good cafe serving a selection of hot and cold food. Also a gift shop. We walked for nearly two hours taking in the views. You could walk for considerably longer, or a lot less depending on your ability and the weather. Very impressed with the path network.

Whether you do this on a tour or rent a car for a day - this is a fun day out. Plenty to see on way down and you can come back up on the other side of Peninsula. Actual Cape has some good treks and has a lot of land under the Park so you could spend quite a bit of time here. Keep an eye out for Ostrich!
