“Windy and wonderful!”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Words can't describe the beauty and ruggardness of Cape Point. It is worth doing the trip! Be prepared to see baboons, ostriches and even whales. Have lunch at Two Oceans restaurant for the views and for the Ostrich burger but get their early!!

“Wild and exciting”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

A tour of the Cape will take a full day but the mix of scenery, from quaint towns to the wilderness areas and the Cape of Good Hope lighthouse area, makes this a worthwhile addition to any Cape Town visit. You will need a car to do it but the roads are good and the signage is more than adequate

“A must see on a visit to South Africa”

A beautiful backdrop to a very historic place in early navigation and exploration.
Crowds can be a bit overwhelming.

“A must on every travellers itinerary within the proximity to Cape Town”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

On a sunny day the location provides fantastic views and plenty of walking opportunities to the various bays in the immediate vicinity.

“MUST SEE”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

Don't just drive straight to the sign to take your picture - you'll miss the best part! Go to the lighthouses and do the two hikes there - one to the lighthouses at Cape Point and the other to the Cape of Good Hope via Diaz Beach. It's the only way to do it! The views are amazing and the hiking isn't too difficult. There are many other trails if you want to spend more time but those two are a must in my opinion.
