Having studied the Capes in history, I was over the moon to be finally here. The drive along the National Park is fine (roads are well maintained) and then you arrive. We climbed to the lighthouse at Cape Point then drove around to the Cape of Good Hope. There are buses that can whizz you up to the lighthouse as well if mobility is limited. Not overly commercialised which was a great relief. Photo taken at The Sign - everyone politely queued & waited for their turn!
Well worth the trip & the most breathtaking scenery if you travel down through Chapmans Peak!
