We drove to Cape of Good Hope on a rainey day and still enjoyed the diversity of the Cape area. We took the coastal road all the way to and from Cape Town and loved the views.

Except for the restaurant. There are several roads to travel inside the reserve and a few small beaches. Spend time here to really appreciate the place. A trip to the top to see the 2 oceans meet (OK, I know we disagree on this) is a must.

We went early before tour buses arrived so it was magical!
With interesting historical background and gorgeous setting it is a "must" when visiting Cape Town.

Worth the short trip from Cape Town. Make it a day trip and include Cape Point, Simon's Town and The Boulders (Boulder Beach) for the penguins.
Fabulous views, historical area, wildlife and flora.

Why take the tram up to the point the best bit is to walk, stop and admire the view on your ownpace. Please take care of the Baboons do not feed them and watch you backpack or any food you display, do not do this. Nice trip out for the day, Drive back along the coast via Houtbay and Champmans Peak..
