Average 4*hotel, resturant not its best asset food lacked imagination. Suituated at extreme end of bay 45 min walk to nearest town/village so not suitable for all.As I holidayed in Oct shoreline bars were closed, so confined to hotel in the evenings
On my last morning I lost a contact lens in my room the staff were amazing,pulled out all the stops to try and find it.
Hotel didn't have a wow factor so I wouldn't return

Room Tip: 1223 in Park excellet, large terrace, good view over pool and garden.Close to Saga bar

Badly laid out hotel with three separate blocks not linked internally,no sign posts or indication where facilities were.A 150 metre walk from room to restaurent,much out in the open.We got wet three times .All paths on a slope with steps and no guard rails.Difficult for all with mobility or sight difficulty.Badly lit at night in October.Poor Receptions (3-1 in each block,) Limited English understanding.Restrictions on all inclusive provision,limited to outside bars,internal ones,cash only.
Business conference attendees given preference of restaurents and service over holiday makers.
A very nice area with plenty to see in nearby Budva and trip via local bus to Kator worthwhile.

First impressions here were excellent, the hotel looked attractive; the gardens / pool area / reception were immaculate, reception staff extremely helpful. We had booked a "side sea view" through Jet2, the room was OK, but we had forgotten to bring the step-ladder and telescope to enjoy the view of the sea. The second room they offered was not much better, so we elected to pay a little extra and they found us a room in the "Saga" block, with an excellent view over the bay. So far so good!
The downside of the hotel began to emerge as we ate the same old poorly cooked, badly presented, monotonous food day in day out in the restaurant. Breakfast was OK, so was lunch on the days we didn't go out, but dinner was extremely disappointing. We are not fussy eaters, but after several days of this stuff we were clamouring to go out and find a decent restaurant. I know all-inclusive presents a difficult challenge for the restaurant management, but we have been in a number of similarly-priced hotels and experienced an excellent dining experience. Other niggles included :
-the lack of a coffee facility at dinner; you had to go down 2 sets of stairs to a draughty bar to get tea/coffee
- the rank poor quality of the wine, I am no connoisseur, usually drink stuff at £3.50 from Aldi, but this stuff was undrinkable
- No decent indoor bar, unless you were with Saga, who had a private room. Sometimes you want to sit and chat with other guests instead of sitting out watching the "entertainment" on a cool evening. There was nowhere to go!
- Room service was non-existent. I ordered bottles of water on Monday, after several visits to reception I was advised on Tuesday evening that it could not be done, and I would be better going to the supermarket! What an admission! One of the receptionists kindly gave me a bottle out of her cupboard, but even she couldn't get through the system.
- Around midweek, 300 Russians arrived all at once on some corporate trip. No problem with that, except that the restaurant just couldn't cope. Their solution was to rope off half the restaurant for the Russian group, and cram the rest of us into half the space we had been used to, resulting in queues for tables first of all, then for the food. Appalling! The situation smacked of greed to me.

The final straw was water running down the bedroom wall. OK nobody could foresee this, but it took them three days to find us another room, then another three days for the management to agree to a refund of the extra money we had paid for the upgrade. I don't think we would have got anything had it not been for the excellent Jet2 rep, who was always available for us. I don't think we can name names on here, but he was a credit to his employers.

Finally a word of praise for the cleaning staff, always cheerful and diligent, and most of the reception staff who did their best in trying circumstances, and to the entertainment staff, who were always there with a friendly word.
Montenegro was lovely, and we will go back, but not to this hotel. I hope the management of the hotel will take note, as they have the potential for an excellent facility there, but it needs a management overhaul from the very top.

After reading the reviews I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel.We travelled with Jet2 holidays and had no welcome meeting details. We had to ask the reception to contact a rep. Not having been to this area before we needed information on trips etc. He came to see us the next evening and told us about getting taxis and the local buses up to Kotor etc. I had read about a mountain trip beforehand but had no information about this while there. We managed to book a full day boat trip from a kiosk on the beach road, which was excellent. We are three ladies in our 60's and had a twin room and a double for single use. The rooms were next door to each other as requested. The reception staff in the main reception were not exactly friendly on arrival and if we had an inquiry there they would always continue their conversation and we had to interrupt them. However, the receptionists in the 'Park' building were very good and helpful, especially a tall, blonde girl.The Belleview is a lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and pool areas. The animation team during the day were good fun and got plenty of people of all mixed nationalities involved in all types of entertainment.
The food was very good for all-inclusive and there was never any queueing considering the size of the dining room. Staff were quite alert to clearing used dishes away. The soups were very good and hot and there was always lots of choice of fresh salads, fruit and delicious breads. The chefs were constantly cooking fresh meat/fish. There was certainly plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes. We mostly had lunch in the pizzeria and this was always good. The only downside to the restaurants/bars was the wine on tap! Disgusting! We found we could buy a bottle of Montengran Sauvingnon for €8.40 which was good. Also there was no white rum at all and not even any lemonade to make a shandy! There were very few seats outside for the entertainment. The hotel could perhaps consider making the lawn close by into a seating area. so that more people could enjoy the evening entertainment.
Although we only had two very good days, weather-wise, we had a good holiday at the Bellevue.

Room Tip: The Bellevue Park building - side garden view on 4th floor. Quiet.

Arrived at the hotel tired and travel weary to be told we were being upgraded to the best suite in the Hotel. We had booked 2 double standard rooms to use as 2 singles. Couldn't really understand why but young porter explained Hotel overbooked and they needed our rooms to accommodate 2 couples. Fantastic suite. On 8 th floor(lift only to 6 th floor. Then stairs to 8 th. but very impressive staircase. Baggage was brought up. Couldn't quite believe the views from our endless balcony. Went to explore and have a cold drink (there was a room service available. At a cost). Had a snack in Terrace area. Then realised needed a rest. Went up to our haven on the top floor and found our beds were just sooooo comfortable. Pillows to die for. Couple of hours later. Yes. Showered and changed and found the restaurant. Drinks were on Tap. Literally. Help yourself. Found table for 2 easily. Waiters and staff really friendly and efficient at clearing used tables. Had a wander round the food areas. Found lots of choices. Always something to enjoy. Just do not start piling food on plate until checked what on offer. Lots of very fresh salads good tasty soups. Heaps of fresh breads and cheeses. Hot food to suit all nationalities and some evenings actually really enjoyed my choices. Dining room typical of large all inclusive type hotel. But felt everything done to make sure holiday makers had a good experience.
Hotel is huge. But seems to be run extremely efficiently. All very clean. Gardens groomed and trimmed. Tennis courts. Badminton. Bowling. Children's club. And 2 minutes to beach.
Entertainment a bit disappointing but have had worse. Rather uncomfortable outdoor area. To sit no where near enough seating.
Think if we had been given our standard rooms over car park. This may have been a different review. Couple of people not happy with position of rooms. But after couple of nights were moved to better views etc..reception staff very good. All staff well trained to acknowledge as they saw us.
Wasn't sure what to expect from Montenegro. But was very pleasantly surprised. Walk to Budva was longer than suggested Not much outside Hotel in Beccicci. Very hot whilst there but no humidity. Which made it very pleasant. Went on the mountain trip. 3000 ft up. Endless hairpin bends. But really impressive day out.
All in all a very pleasant holiday. Even the 3 hour transfer from Airport wasn't too bad. Short ferry crossing. And Borders checks. Broke up the journey.
Well done Hotel Bellvue. Would certainly recommend you

Room Tip: Ask for high floor. If possible pay for sea view.

My party of 5 booked via JET 2 Holidays for a 10 day holiday half board to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. We booked half board as that was the highlighted option in the Jet 2 holidays brochure. The all inclusive option was available for those who wished to book it, but we were quite happy to book half board as we like to go out for the day and take lunch out, and only drink at night in moderation.
I have stayed at a lot of Iberostar Hotels in many countries over many years and I have always been extremely well satisfied so I was expecting a similar service.
However, the way we were treated at this hotel was disgraceful. We couldn't buy a drink in the evening unless we went to the small bar next to reception in the main building or walked to the piano bar on the top floor of the adjacent terrace building. The main bar serving the outside entertainment area was for all-inclusive guests only!
When we tried to buy a drink at the small bar next to the main reception, there was never any staff available and, on enquiring at reception, they simply said that they would contact a bar person. We had to wait so long that, eventually, we just gave up, went to the local supermarket and brought it back to the outside entertainment area. Just imagine-celebrating a 60th birthday by going to the local supermarket and bringing drinks back to your hotel's entertainment area because you can't get served in your hotel!. WE WERE MADE TO FEEL LIKE SECOND CLASS GUESTS SIMPLY BECAUSE WE HAD TAKEN THE HALF BOARD OPTION RATHER THAN THE ALL-INCLUSIVE OPTION. (ALL-INCLUSIVE GUESTS HAD NO PROBLEMS OBTAINING DRINKS.)
The next night, we went to the piano bar where there was no problem getting served because there were no other guests present! They were all at the other building watching the entertainment of course. When I asked what time the pianist was playing, the barman informed me that he had never even seen the piano opened, let alone played, in all the time he had worked there.
When I put the same comments as above in the guests' comment book on the penultimate day of my holiday, I looked through previous comments made over the preceding years, and was amazed to find that similar comments had been made by previous guests going back to 2006. ( These observations could be found regularly in the comments book at the Park building and also at the Piano Bar building.) SO SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE! IBEROSTAR-NEVER AGAIN. WE PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR THIS HOLIDAY AND 95% OF IT WAS EXCELLENT BUT THE 5% THAT WAS DISGRACEFUL RUINED THE 95% THAT WAS EXCELLENT. JET 2-DROP THIS HOTEL FROM YOUR BROCHURE OR DO NOT OFFER THE HALF BOARD OPTION.

bad service!
most of the stuff don't speak english even in the reception.
noisy.
we could not find even one quite place to sit and speak
the room is very small
we were there 3 nights in all of them we have bad smell from the kitchen
i don't recommand this hotel!!!
