We had one of the most amazing dining experiences of our whole European trip here. It was a special occasion for us (a birthday) and immediately we were taken in upon arrival by the gorgeous lighting, authentic Greek style interior and fresh vegetables and preserved delicacies on display. We opted for the '14 flavour' menu for 33 Euros each - a great idea! We were served copious amounts of food, from soups to salads in the appetizers, tasty mains, and three desserts!!! The value for money was amazing considering both the quantity and the quality of the food - we were absolutely full by the end.
Our waiters were absolutely lovely and the experience altogether was simply unforgettable.
Also looks like an amazing function venue for those in the area!

Thank you to the restaurant and staff for giving us such an amazing Greek experience.

superb greek food, excellent view, extensive wine list, best sorbets and deserts. It takes some time to get there but the scenery and the surroundings are all inspirating and make you to feel a bit free for the noise of the town. It's like going for dinner to the house of a wealthy friend in the most expensive and elegant suberb of Athens. Portions are quite sufficient and the sense of hospitality obvious. You end up with a feeling to have this experience again when you think again that you deserve some more happy hours

This must be one of the very best restaurants in the whole of Greece, It has so many positives: a beautiful location; an elegant dining-room; very polished and friendly service; a very sound wine list; and, above all, magnificent food, at very competitive prices.

Foreigners visiting Athens may initially be put off by the fact that it seems very far from the city centre. But the beautiful location in Kifissia, on a hill-top with spectacular views down over the city, makes the trip more than worthwhile. It is also quite easy to get to by public transport - take the Metro to the end of the line, and then you can either take a short bus or taxi ride, or walk through a really nice and interesting (and safe) area for about 30 minutes.

However, the real draw is the exceptional Greek cuisine, consisting of Greek classics made exceptionally well and raised to a higher level than usual. The biggest set menu is quite outstanding. Cold starters include such items as a wonderfully rich pine nut salad, accompanied by just-out-of-the-oven flatbread. Hot starters include a smoked aubergine salad, with the warm aubergine gutted at your table and mixed into the other ingredients for maximum freshness. Greek pasta in a cream sauce with cockerel meat was also a stand-out.

On this set menu, the main course is a mixed grill of various meats, all excellent but with the best being pork cooked in honey - this was wonderfully soft and yielding meat, and utterly delicious. The set of desserts was brilliant - one of the very best chocolate desserts I have ever had (in this case, a mousse flavoured with mastic), a superb orange cake, a perfectly roasted quince, and rose ice cream.

Portions are large, and the sense of hospitality great. And yet all this marvellous food was 35 Euros per head on a Sunday lunchtime, an undoubted bargain.

Add to this exceptionally pleasant and hyper-efficient staff with Michelin-level professionalism, and you have a wonderful restaurant offering a memorable experience. Clearly this place is a hit with the locals. But visitors to Athens who take food seriously, and who want to have traditional Greek food somewhat reinvented and taken to new levels of sophistication, should make the effort to go out to Kifissia, because this is a superlative dining experience. I am definitely going back the next time I am in Athens.

Congratulations to the kitchen and front-of-house staff - you are doing a brilliant job!

After having a few average meals, we decided to try this place after reading some good reviews. Yes it is a bit of a trip out of Athens, approx 25 mins by taxi but I can tell you it is well worth it! The restaurant itself is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and relax and the view is spectacular! The staff are attentive without fussing around you and we were advised there were three options a 14 flavours tasting menu, 24 flavours or you could order al la carte. We opted for the 14 course and the selection of starters was fantastic with all the different dishes complimenting each other follwed by a main which you select yourself, finished off with a selection of deserts. They were ven very kind and gave us some drinks on the house! Not the cheapest, but again for what you get and the overall experience worth every penny! Will definitely remember this place for the future and I also recommended it to another guest at my hotel that had been looking for somewhere nice to celebrate a birthday. I'll just finish off by saying we also arrived fairly late approx 23:20 and this wasn't a problem, there were other tables still seated - we were not rushed and received excellent service.

This restaurant was a great great find! Initially, we were a bit apprehensive because of the amount of time it took to get there from downtown Athens.

However, the ride to the restaurant allowed us to see Kifisia Area which is something to do on my next trip.

The restaurant itself is impeccable. We started by going down a cave-like structure with a lady (who wasn't smiling and somehow wasn't explaining what was happening!) offering us either sweet or strong. Guess it was liquor so we had our shot. Nice start.

We got to the main dining area and it was beautiful. A FAR cry from the usual tavernas in Plaka. We were given a choice of 14 or 24 courses and of course, we went the whole way.

the 24 courses do include the appetizers and dips so to a certain extent, its a bit misleading. But the food and service were excellent anyway that we gave it a pass.

This is a definite MUST EAT for anyone visiting Athens.
