To Ros, Duncan and Jenny. U know we have stayed at your resort every year and sometimes more than once a year for the past twelve years and continue to return. We would like everyone considering a visit to Komati to definitely stay at your resort. The chalets are well equipped, clean and most importantly in that heat air-conditioned. We always have a fantastic time and especially enjoy the tiger fishing, the wildlife and the beautiful river frontage. We love staying with you as we are always warmly welcomed by all and even enjoy nightly chats. You always go out of your way to accommodate us and we will certainly continue to return to your wonderful little Eden on earth. I highly recommend you to everyone who asks including all of our family members, most of whom you have met. Lastly no person can possibly complain about any aspect of their experience. With love from Yvonne, Craig, Daynnah, and Blaiden Blignaut, Venturion Pretoria

My wife , my brother and I stayed for 3 nights at Komati river chalets and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The river chalets are a 5 minute drive to Kruger park andhad all that we needed and were kept very clean, even the Braai was cleaned after every time we used it. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged our days safari in Kruger park and also an afternoons very enjoyable fishing on the river. The restaurant food was very good and even the resident cat and dogs were very friendly.

After a long day chasing local wildlife, the Komati River Chalets were a very relaxing place to come back to, to freshen up and spark up the Braai!

We highly recommend Komati River Chalets to anyone looking for somewhere to stay whilst discovering wild Africa!

Wonderful host and very clean bungalows. All the basics are there to make a BBQ and towels were provided. We enjoyed our stay there, its ideal for a stop over and about 10 km from Crocodile Bridge Gate - Kruger Park and 4km from the Mozambique border.

Room Tip: Just need softer pillows on the beds.

Ideally located for eploring Kruger Park or for a stay over on the way to Mozambique (2km from N4 and border post, 10km from Kruger). Reservation was fast and efficient, the bungalows are neat with a seating area outside. Reataurant has a small but good selection of food and drinks, service extremely pleasant and kind. All in all highly recommended

My mother and I spent almost three weeks here and it began to feel like home. The 2 bedroom chalet was very clean and comfortable and was good to be able to cook if we felt like it or go and eat at their restaurant .Menu isn't huge but food was good .The owners were fantastic ,nothing was a trouble and went out of their way to help from advice on tours and guide. It is close to Kruger National Park and the shopping centre is an easy walk .They also pushed to get the WiFi on while we were there . Checking out it was lovely to get hugs from owners ... I can highly recommend it and will definitely be back .... Karyn Stoneman

Chalets were spotlessly clean. All the staff very friendly and accommodating. The owners have so much information on the area and the park, so dont hesitate to ask them for any tips. We had an evening meal and breakfast at the restaurant. Both meals were great, the breakfast really saw us through till mid afternoon, one of the best breakfasts we have had in S Africa.

The famous Kruger National Park, Crocodile bridge gate is a mere 12km from the lodge and the sweet veld grasses of the South Eastern Kruger National Park ensure that this is arguably the best game viewing area of the entire park as vast herds of plains game and predators alike are attracted to the spoils of this pristine area. Set above the flood plain of the Komati River, the restaurant, bar and pool facilities, and the individual chalets are no more than fifty meters from the water’s edge where pods of hippos and an array of spectacular bird life will entertain for hours on end.
