We had the most wonderful ending to our South America adventure at Conalbi Grinberg. From the moment of our arrival we enjoyed the warm hospitality of Sergio and Pablo, who take their guests' comfort seriously. The accommodations were lovely, the vineyard in early fall still full of grapes to sample, and the quiet peace of the place was restorative. Though our tour company had planned day trips and winery tours for us, some of the most special time we spent was at Casa Vinicola itself. Sergio and Pablo are the consummate hosts, and our only regret is that it may be awhile before we return.

Casa Vinicola is absolutely fabulous! From the moment we drove up and entered the gate I knew we had found the perfect place to stay to experience the Argentine wine country. It feels a world away from Mendoza and the surrounding areas. Sergio and Pablo couldn't have been more hospitable. They were so accommodating, always anticipating our needs. And it's worth mentioning that they only ever have two rooms occupied at a time so it feels like you have the place to yourself most of the time. The attention to detail was quite impressive. There was always water waiting, fresh towels for the pool, lovely music playing, they think of everything. The grounds are beautiful and there are numerous spots to sit and relax and enjoy the tranquility. Our room was great - we stayed in the downstairs room which has an attached bathroom and windows out to the lawn. It was well appointed and plenty spacious. Sergio and Pablo were helpful in giving us great recommendations and arranging for taxis. We enjoyed a dip in the very inviting pool at the end of each day. I can't say enough about the wine tasting experience here as well! It is a must. We did the wine tasting paired with hors d'oeuvres and it was hands down my favorite wine tasting of the trip (and we visited some great places). Conalbi Grinberg produces really great wine and the whole experience is so personalized with Sergio sharing pictures, stories, etc. If you are coming to Mendoza, you must visit Casa Vinicola! I definitely hope I will have a chance to visit again!

Ensconced in the heart of Mendoza's wine region, the Maipu Valley, lies Casa Vinicola. It's not just another nice boutique hotel but a gorgeous hidden oasis of tranquility, indescribable hospitality, delectable meals and three of the best behaved doggies you'd ever want to meet!!!
In our 30 years together, my husband and I have traveled the world and come across many places we've fallen in love with, but there has never been a place quite like Casa Vinicola, and certainly never hosts as warm and welcoming as Sergio and Pablo!! True hospitality is an art, and what a joy to stay with those who understand the needs of their guests and deliver them to perfection.
The air in Maipu is fresh and you are situated a pleasant distance from the hustle bustle of Mendoza. The grounds are lovely and tranquil and so very much what one envisions the Argentine wine region to be. The house itself is charming, artsy and classy. There are just two guest rooms so your experience is guaranteed to be private and relaxing. Please see my room tip below.
Should you choose to stay at Casa Vinicola be sure to treat yourself to a marvelous and memorable dinner, served by Norma, and enjoy some delightful conversation with Sergio and Pablo and Conabli-Grinberg's very fine wine!!!

Room tip: I highly recommend booking the new room overlooking the lovely swimming pool. It is not only quiet and private but such a special treat to draw the curtains in the morning and be welcomed by birds fluttering about Casa Vinicola's perfectly picturesque vineyards!!!

Looking for a cozy place to stay, with artistically decorated rooms, individual attention and a warm welcome? You wouldn't know it by walking or driving by, but this super quiet B&B is hidden down a dirt road behind some substantial gates. The gorgeous grounds including vineyard and house are a well run establishment. We were traveling with a little baby and it was very important to us that accommodations be situated in a quiet and safe location. They provided a crib with beautiful linens and exclusive bathroom supplies for our little girl and treated her like a princess. The meals were top notch and we very much enjoyed tasting Conalbi & Grinber wines in a dedicated tasting room. We bought a few bottles, but now we wish we purchased more. We were afraid that we would have problems with airlines, but you can bring 6 bottles per person as a carry-on on any domestic flights with no extra charge and we encountered no problems brining it in the US (California) as checked luggage. We enjoyed the grounds, being among the vines and lounging in the shade on the back porch or sitting in the grass under the trees. The pool is also very inviting. Our room was very spacious and the facilities are very high quality.

My words will fail to express just how wonderful this home is... from the remarkable hosts, to the stunning surroundings, to the exceptional wine, this place is truly magical!

We travelled as two couples and had the pleasure of staying two nights, but we all wished it could have been longer! The location and accommodation is a great launching pad to winery visits and also allows for relaxation in the beautiful garden surrounded by pristine vines. On our first night we had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with Pablo and Sergio as well as a tasting of a few of their their fantastic wines! We were made to feel incredibly welcomed for the remained of our stay and felt privileged to enjoy conversation with them over breakfast as well as a lazy evening in their beautiful house.

Sergio and Pablo are two very engaging and wonderful individuals whose talent for entertaining is matched by their charisma! They have created an exceptional retreat that has made for lasting memories... anyone who is able to visit is quite fortunate!
