We enjoyed Posada de las Minas. It captures the magic of this part of Mexico. Rooms are excellent, beautifully furnished and quiet. The gardens are a delight. Service in the restaurant is top notch. The problem was: We had brought a special bottle of wine from home to share with our son for the last day of our trip, and the hotel refused to allow us to open it, even with a corkage fee, which is inexplicable for a top end place. It was something we were looking forward to, so this lack of consideration was a major frustration and disappointment.
