We stayed in Zumaia for a few nights as a convenient base for travelling along the coast. The apartment is modern, well-furnished and has a very nice stylish feel, with a well-equipped kitchenette, lovely shower room and pretty furnishings. Being on the ground floor is good in meaning no stairs to climb with heavy bags, though it also means not being able to leave windows open on hot nights - fans or a.c would solve this. We found a parking spot behind the block when we needed one, though generally on street parking in Zumaia - as in all Spanish cities - is very difficult. There are a few nice breakfast cafes/bread shops a short walk across the canal, though food shopping is trickier to hunt down and access.
