I just spent 2 nights at the Conrado. The standard room was clean with a beach side view. Dinner was fantastic each nice. The walk to Pigeon Point is nice. There is plenty to do in the area but still quiet and relaxing in the evenings.

Spent 3 days at Conrado Beach resort and enjoyed every moment. Antonio and Lawerence the owners are wonderful guys, warm and friendly. Breakfast as part of the stay was excellent. Room was very clean, organized, and comfortable. Ocean view spectacular, and sunset amazing. For the rate couldn't ask for better. Short walk to Pigeon point beach, Would return for future trips.

Just returned from a four-day stay at Conrado Resort on Pigeon Point.
A breath taking view of the ocean and truly a laid back, rustic ambience. The shoreline is virtually a step away from the hotel. The view from the balcony is almost surreal. Fishing boats moored along the coastline, sea birds alighting on them looking for their morning meal. When the day is done and you think you've seen it all, sit on your deck and gasp at the sunset. By nightfall, the waves are almost lashing the hotel's pillars. How much closer to nature can one be?
The welcome by Lawrence is warm and familial. He's naturally warm and disarming.
Freda, the meals hostess is pleasant and almost nurturing.
A superior ocean view room is best advised.
The only reason I hesitate to give this wonderful corner of heaven a full five rating is that I found the breakfast table waitresses indifferent and unwilling. Management needs more people like Freda!
All in all, I find Conrado THE place to stay if enjoying the island paradise is your reason to be in Tobago.
I will return.

Room Tip: Superior Ocean View.

One of the best locations on the island. Right on a fantastic beach, next to Pigeon Point. Shops, restaurants, and bars very close by. Scuba diving and other sports are available from operators on the beach. They also served a decent breakfast and the rooms were clean. Not a fancy hotel but very good value.

The room we got for the price didnt have a view ... there was a macaw and a horse making noise all day so we didnt get much sleep during the day ... the beach is used for fishing so its smell of fish so we couldnt bathe there and you have to walk about 15mins to the nearest decent food place and if its night there is a part that is dark so be careful. They had a wonderful buffet breakfast that was good. The lady receptionist she wasnt pleasant and she looks at you weird if you ask questions as for the guy he was good ad very helpful. Besides the food and the welcome service of the owner still it was poor rather pay a few dollars more and visit somewhere else... You can stay if you gonna pay every day to go pigeon point beach and if you want a view of the fishy ocean!

We spent two weeks there. The ocean view room was spacious and the sunsets breathtaking. The food in the restaurant was excellent. it took us only 5 minutes by bicycle to get either to the kite spot (Pigeon Point) or to the village.
I would recommend this hotel to those who can do without a minibar and a flat screen, those who don't mind sharing the big terrace with other friendly people, those who love sunsets. The staff were extremely friendly. We felt welcome and safe.

We were quite dissappointed with our stay here. This was by far the most dissappointing hotel on our tour of Tobago - but the most expensive.

I certainly do not want staff to take bags for you etc, but the staff were uninterested and quite rude. From the moment we arrived, the check in desk staff didnt even look at us and only spoke to tell us our room number. When asked any advice about the local area, they did not know. At breakfast the staff made us feel like we were outstaying our welcome. I honestly thought that the previous reviews saying how friendly the staff were, were for a different hotel. Maybe we just had a bad week - or the staff mentioned in previous reviews were never on duty when we were there.

I was also really dissapointed with the breakfast. We would arrive between 1.5hour - 1 hour before the end of breakfast and they had always almost run out of everything. If asked, they would get you more (with reluctance) but often they had completely run out. I asked if they had any more fresh fruit and she looked at me as though I was expecting some foreign delicacy. On the plus side, the breakfast is eaten on the veranda over looking the sea, which is very pictureque.

The room was fine, smallest we had on the island and we had to use both fan and air con, leaving it on all the time (which we do not tend to do, as feel it is a waste of electricity when we're not in!) as this was the only way to bring the temperature down at all.

After a few days the towels were cleaned, only to be replaced with one hand towel and one bath towel (for 2 people) and no bath mat - essential as the floor is so slippy we both almost fell over many times. A trip to reception to obtain more towels was unsuccesful and we had to make do with our own beach towels.

The rooms are off a long echoey corridor, which means people shouting to each other from one end to other wakes you up a lot in the night.

We stayed in a Superior Room with Ocean View and were very glad we did as we didnt think it would be worth staying here at all if it weren't for the view.

Room Tip: I would only recommend coming here at all for the view - request a Superior Ocean View room, or not...
