We had an excellent meal at La Cantina a couple of days ago. Range and quality of the thin-crust pizzas are excellent - they do all the standard varieties plus a few local interpretations in a caribbean style. They used only to open for lunch and the afternoon, but now seem to be open most evenings too.
We arrived without a booking at a very busy time, and the staff worked hard to find us a table and make us feel welcome while waiting. As others have said, the winelist is good, and they also serve draught Carib and Stag beer (both of these are quite sweet lagers, so they are like Italian Peroni or Moretti beers and compliment the food well).
Parking is easy, and the RBTT cash-machine's across the carpark in case you run out!

Wow. I thought I was only going to be eating seafood while in Tobago but I had the best authentic brick oven pizza I've ever had. Prepared by a real Italian chef! The selection of imported Italian wines was fantastic and the Chianti I had complemented the pizza perfectly. I highly recommend La Cantina while in Tobago.

La Cantina, is in a great location. Very central and east to find. The atmosphere is relaxed and very family style. Dining is outdoors so you get the fresh Tobago air. The pizza, what can I say? Amazing authentic Italian style. My mouth is watering as I type this. You cannot go wrong visiting this place, well worth it.

Not the best location. Right next to the CoCo reef hotel, tucked between a laundrette and a bank. La Cantina is very small with limited seating inside, lots of seating outside. It has a proper wood burnig pizza oven, home made dough which the chef spins on his hand till it makes an incredibly thin and crispy base. they serve one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted. One pizza is too big for oneperson - suggest share - but we got a doggy bag and lunch next day was sorted. Popular with locals.
