You can't quite believe that this sort of etablishment could be this close to any airport! There is an excellent restaurant, which uses many of their own herbs which can be seen growing in the extraordinarily peaceful garden (which houses the yoga centre and treatment rooms - not sampled). It may be because we couldn't have envisaged such a centre, let alone a restaurant, that we were so pleased, so the best answer must be that you ignore the not particulalrly attractive neighbourhood and try it yourself.

We went for the buffet night, everyone could only eat one plate and some ate no fish or chicken. The food was very nice and service great, staff friendly and place lovely BUT the cost was 30€ each which was absolutely extortionate for what we ate. In fairness we should have asked the cost first but nowhere in our wildest dreams did we think the price would be that high.

Went twice during my holiday for lunch and we all had one of the specials of the day, either chicken or fish all cooked and presented to a perfect standard. Just because 1 or 2 of the side dishes was not to my taste doesn't mean they weren't cooked perfectly just my preference.
Location ambience drinks service all relaxing and enjoyable + good to try local cuisine.

We have been there tonight (Monday 7.30 pm). It is very close to the airport, but at that time there where not many planes starting or landig. For staying at the hotel -well, I am not shure. That could be noisy.
But for dinner it was okay.
The tables are nice situated. Looks quite romantic at nighttime.
They had 3 menues to choose from
fish
beef (Roastbeef)
vegetarian

All served with a -good spiced- vegetarian soup, a small salad and the main cources with mashed potatoes, beans and some other vegetable.
Desert was cake or a big Icecream.
With 2 Softdrinks (one original ginger beer, take it only if you like strong! ginger taste) it was 425TT incl. 25% Tax and SC.
No big choise for the menues but you can have a look on the website, what they offer for the day.
We enjoyed it. Woulod go there again.

The rum punch had more spices in it than some of the curries I had on the island. The kicker for me was an Easter Ham - something I really don't expect in the Caribbean but a very welcome surprise. All of the food was superb, the host was attentive and engaging, the atmosphere tropical. After our meal a calypso band came on with rotating singers that rocked!
