While staying at Kariwak village we also had a chance to sample some of masterpieces chef Cynthia makes. We absolutely loved their salads, fish, curries,...- we didn't have even one mediocre meal in all the time we were there- everything was excellent. We especially recommend buffet dinners on Fridays and Saturdays which are usually followed by live music.Goes well with the superb cocktails they make! My wife was particularly fond of the Lime Daquila.
As we got married at Kariwak we also got the perfect gift- a cookbook written by Cynthia which will remind us of our time spent there and all the good food we had there!

We got there a little after two, and even though they had just serves someone else lunch we werent allowed to order from the lunch menu, soo we had to have sandwiches. They took forever even though when they came they evidently didnt take any care in preparing it. and it was 55 TTD for a club sandwich.

This restaurant is beautiful but the food is extremely mediocre and overpriced. I had the fixed menu with 3 courses and was extremely unimpressed. I've had more filling and tasty meals at the roti shop for a quarter of the price (215TT). I honestly don't know how this place has such stellar reviews. Do not waste your time here.

We went in February on a buffet night (Saturday). We had heard the place was good and it was just about full which is always a good sign. Great buffet, excellent wine. I did quite enjoy the calypso stye band too . All in all a good evening.

As regular visitors to Tobago, we always ensure we have at least one dinner at Kariwak. Reservations are recommended on the weekends, and we prefer the Prix fixe menu over the buffet. For a reasonable price, the Prix fixe includes a soup, salad, main course (usually a choice of meat or seafood) and desert. Everything is made in-house using spices and herbs grown in their own gardens on the extensive hotel grounds.
The service is generally good and we leave satisfied every time.
