“What a gem!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

This hotel was a gem within a gem of a town. It is situated on the main road through Torla and we thought at first this could be a problem but it is very quiet. Our hosts were just lovely people who went above and beyond to help in any way that is needed, as did their staff. The room was lovely, if a little dark, with a balcony looking right up the valley. Spectacular is one way to describe it. The meals they provided had been well thought out. Breakfast was good but the evening meal was great. Very reasonably priced and again they were very helpful regarding my gluten free status. Anna even packed my gluten free baguette in the picnic I ordered when we went hiking. Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Room Tip: A room with a balcony would be a bonus (we had room 207).

Stayed here end of September. A great hotel. The owners and their staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the food was very good. Breakfast isn't included, but good value and plenty of it. We had all our evening meals here which were excellent and the menu changed every evening. As the menu was only in Spanish, the owner made a point of coming over and translating it to us every evening. A very nice personal touch which we really appreciated. No hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: Paying a little extra for a room with a balcony is well worth it, the views are spectacular.

The place is located almost on the entrance of the "Ordesa" park, it is run by a very nice couple, it is nice and cozy and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast (not included in the price) is exactly wat is needed to start the day. Get excellent edvice on everything local from the lady owner.

We had a double room in this hotel. Parking was free, at the front of the hotel. Our room had a view of the mountains. The room was very clean and well appointed, but didn't have a refrigerator. The heating was preset by the hotel and was too hot. Breakfast was extra, but very good value, with a good variety of cereal, fruit, eggs, pastries and breads. The reception was fairly formal as the owner didn't speak much English, so he wasn't able to give us much tourist information, though he was able to give us a map. His wife however, was very helpful with recommendations on the day that we were leaving and advised us of a lovely walk to do en route and a great, scenic drive.

We stayed here for 2 day's. The managers are verry friendly and the rooms and beds are good. The doors from the other rooms are a bit noisy, but we see that in a lot of hotels.
Wonderfull view, cosy town. Good to relax here for a moment.

Room Tip: all the room are nice

What a wonderful surprise! There are several hotels to choose from in Torla, but we were delighted with the Bujaruelo. Right on the edge of town, looking up at the high mountains of the Pyrenees, it is in a great spot. But what really sets it apart is what happens when you go through the front door: a very friendly, welcoming staff, a very nice room, and everything else you could ask for. (Note: Free parking, free wifi)
But the biggest surprise was when we asked about dinner. There is no sign for a restaurant so
we didn't hold out much hope. But the in-house restaurant was one of the best of our entire trip. Between 8-10 pm there is a brief menu available, but everything we had was excellent from steaming hot soup to well-crafted pork loin in green peppercorns. Wow!

We join our voices to all the others on TripAdvisor - a really nice find in a stunningly beautiful area.

Room Tip: Streets are quiet at night (at least in May) so choose a room facing the mountains.

A really excellent hotel, made to feel very welcome, staff were great and extremely helpful. Room looked over the Pyrenees with wonderful views. Room was modern and very nicely appointed with a small balcony one could sit out and take in the views. A very good menu for the evening was available which was served by friendly waitress. Breakfast was buffet continental providing all the usual stuff. Had no complaints and would definitely return.

Room Tip: All face the mountains
